You are so nice, I probably would have told that lady "whatever" and just kept on placing the Corelle dishes in my cart. Your granddaughter is a beautiful girl, she looks to be about the same age as my youngest granddaughter, they grow up way too fast. Thanks for showing us your finds and telling how you will most likely use and display them.

I have seen a set of those plates around here and they were pretty expensive.
I am in the process of doing a declutter right now. I am an empty nester, but out of habit, still do a back to school declutter.
I love that you take your sweet granddaughter thrifting. I use to take my kids thrifting with me, and to this day they love to thrift. Mostly they like deals.
Love the blue placemats and napkins. Very pretty blue. Good haul.
Riley is just so sweet, like her Grandmother ❤️❤️. That is how I learned, my Mother and dear Aunt Carol would take us kids in the station wagon and teach us about antiques and vintage, we were told to look with our eyes and keep our hands in our pockets, ha ha. Back in those days, we did what we were told 😂😂. Julie, every time I find ironstone, I think of your sweet self.

No one does thrifting videos half as well as you do!!! I LOVE the way you take us along with you, showing us items and prices and talking to us as if we're walking right beside you! I can't get to thrift stores right now, and I don't know when I'll be able to again. But meantime, your videos are SO WONDERFUL!!! I love the gravy boat and the basket so much!!!! This trip reminded me of when my granddaughter would come to spend a week with me , I lived near several goodwills and we went thrifting everyday, I think she loved thrifting more than me !Loved the video and thanks for some special memories ❤️😇
Hi Julie. My grandma had the Corelle in that pattern. I’m so sad that I didn’t take them when they were offered to me. She had all of the matching accessories too. Now I find myself looking for them.

That Corelle pattern is called 'crazy daisy'. It is vintage and may be difficult to find an entire set. I have the plates and bowls in that pattern and use them everyday. love my Corelle!

On the soap dispenser if it’s not soap I would just clean it well then sand it with sand paper ( to get any lose stuff off) then spray with Chrome spray paint.

Your Goodwills have good pricing seems like who ever marks my stores items loves to mark everything 3.99 and up on all small figures, plates and baskets thankfully some of the cashiers will give me things cheaper without me asking..I love that ❤❤ Julie thanks for all your videos and inviting us into your home for inspiration!!

I am retired so it seems I am cleaning out drawers all the time but it just doesn’t stay that way for long. I was a yard sale person & I have things for fall, winter, Xmas & spring. Love to move things around. I also have a Polish Pottery collection & that is all I cook with. Our Goodwill has zero!

Yes the green floral set of dishes is what I’ve been looking for for a long time and can’t find any. I have only a couple of plates, and saucers . Would like to have a set of 12 for family gatherings.
I've had a set of Corelle dishes for decades and still use them every day.

I was going "YES!"when you said you enjoy thrifting just for the sake of seeing what's in the store. That's how I feel also. It's a hobby as well as a stress reliever too. I figure there are worse things I could be doing. Your granddaughter is just precious.

Inspired shopping! Yes, I declutter all the time and there is always more to do.
Those black basket trays were nice! I declutter and purge things seasonally. I’ve decluttered my kitchen so much over the past 3 years that I finally feel that it’s manageable. I’m always checking my “inventory” and getting rid of what I don’t use. On items I can’t decide about I keep them, sometimes in a box, and then the next time I make the decision. Sometimes I realize I can use an item another way!
I do the very same Christine ! I purge then put aside until I either decide to get rid of it or use in a diff way!

Julie, on the soap dispenser we have very limey hard well water with no water softener and I have found with dog bows and such that if you put the top of the soap container in a bowl deep enough to cover the item cover with white vinegar and water probably about a 4 to 1 ratio with the vinegar being the 1 part...soak for 20 minutes then check, if not soak longer, it also works great for shower heads and stuff like that

I do a seasonal declutter and clean. Plus I am always gathering a bag of donations on a weekly basis.
I can remember, when I was a young girl, asking my daddy why was is it that when it's hot outside, we want it cold, and when it's cold outside, we want it hot. He gave me that same answer: Because we're never satisfied! 😂

You could try fine grade steel wool with baking soda to clean that pump top. Or change it out with another pump top. I save my old pump tops or keep dollar store ones to swap out if one goes bad.

That brass horn🥰 I got some awesome things today! I got 8 very, very old books for 1.00!! They were having a bag sale! Woohooo! Picked up a few other things, couldn’t believe it, don’t really have great days like I did today!
Seeing that recipe holder reminds me of the yellow plastic one I had eons ago😂 I probably would have bought the wood one, they are great when cooking and the recipe is held there for you. Yep houses do get that way, especially in summer when you’re just running everywhere! So happy you’ll be back on Tuesday!❤

Hello Julie,I LOVE watching your videos and also love to thrift for me,my family and my friends. I'm not sure which video it was but you were asking how to get the white smudge off of the drinking glasses you bought . If you are just using them as decor you can take some vegetable oil on a paper towel and rub inside and out and it will clear all that off. But be very careful because it will be slippery 🤣. *Julie, unfortunately the soap pump dispenser has soap buildup that has eaten away the thin layer of silver foil over the plastic. No fixing that. 😔You could use a silver paint marker to fill in the white plastic showing through, but it won't be shiny like a foil finish. Metallic spray paint isn't mirrored enough either. 😔 Check to see if the pump on your current dispenser fits and swap them. The blue 💙 one is tall, so it has a long tube inside, which you may have to switch out with your current dispenser so it reaches the bottom, if that one is too short. I save my pumps from single use soap dispensers or from dispensers I don't use anymore for just these types of situations and keep them in a zip lock bag in a little plastic bin in the linen closet so they are ready to use when needed.*
*My favorite item was the basket 🧺 - I was hoping you would buy that cutie❣️😊*
*Yes, the placemats and napkins are a Set. The reason they are a slightly different color is because the placemats have been washed in the washing machine many more times than the napkins have been, so they have faded a bit. Placemats are used every day, but many families only use cloth napkins for special occasions, so it's easy to see how that could happen. 😉 Just wash the napkins a few times with your regular laundry and it will help even out those colors. 😉😁*

Equal parts Vinegar and water touch of dish soap. Spray bottle mix and it should clean you soap pump right up.

I live in Michigan, and our Goodwill stores do not look like this! You are fortunate.
If you can't clean up the pump on that glass container, maybe you can find a different pump that fits, Julie.

When I find a soap dispenser that the top is not perfect I still buy it and go to the Dollar store and buy one from there & change the pump.

Julie, sometimes soap eats away at the silver coating on the soap pumps. But, you might find a new pump on-line. My daughter ordered new ones for her Mason jar soap and lotion bottles 😊

I do a Declutter AFTER canning season, which is just getting started at my place. Pickles, baked beans, tomatoe sauce and relish today😅 After canning season,then Everything used for it gets washed and put away in the cellar til next year and the kitchen is "decluttered" once again!
I think you could clean the soap dispenser with a toothbrush and some comet💜
Hey Julie, I have no tricks removing the corrosion on the dispenser (hope it’s soap) if it doesn’t come off, just use a little silver paint. I’m also asking for your prayers as I go in for my 2nd knee replacement this Tuesday 8/1. I know I’m in good hands🌺

@@ThrilledThrifter no! I have 3 Goodwills within 15 miles of my house and none of them have carts...just the hand totes. Drives me bonkers when I find a large item. I have to drag it around with me
Oh my god! I learned the truth about EO companies like YL a long time ago and I refuse to pay their prices when it is ridiculous to do so! There are so very many good companies with quality oils at a FRACTION of the price and I highly recommend the Now brand and my favorite is the Barefut brand! YL markets like they are superior but that simply isn’t the truth, as tests were run on many brands of oils to prove it. I almost turned blue when you said that owl diffuser was originally $100. I have an amazing one that is beautiful and has been working great for approximately 4 years now and it was $20! I have not been feeling well for about 6 weeks now and I am sorely missing thrifting. I am enjoying watching you and I have a granddaughter who is precious like yours!❤️

The gravy boat did not have an original ironstone stamp on it. I own several old ironstone pieces and they all have the same original stamp on the bottom and they are all white.

I am opposite from you when it comes to someone telling me why not to buy something. I would have put those dishes in my cart and then if I really didn't want to buy them I would have put them back later when that lady was out of sight.

My 30 plus year old white Corelle dishes now live with my daughter and may well end up being passed on to the next generation!
The buildup looks like the soap deteriorated the cap. May not come off.
