We have in our fleet 5 MAN TGA and 5 MAN TGX and one MAN TGM.All truck working properly without any problems! Few MAN TGA have more than one million kilometres and still working excellent!!! We don't have any cancellation of MAN trucks on the road!!! We are very proud with that things ::)) !
Daf and Renault are very comfortable to drive and for sleeping, Scania, Man, Iveco, and Volvo also very good truck's just like the Mercedes. That's why we can't say that this or that is the best.

Zoals een BMW dat met personen auto's doet, Doet DAF dat met vrachtwagens...........Een overduidelijke uitstraling van hoge klasse en top kwaliteit geven... Voor mij dus ''absoluut'' de DAF!

Great size fridge in the scania and so small the iveco for being out in the Truck for a week but all High Roofs is good size to stand up and move around a little for stretching in the Morning

Daf ,Volvo and Scania are the best nowadays but to be honest living on that 2 square meters for weeks is ridiculous. It would be great if we could have trucks with big sleepers like in North America.
Ik rij nu als oproepkracht in meerdere merken trucks. De beste slaper blijft nog steeds de DAF, de fijnste ergonomische cabine om mee te rijden, de Volvo.
Denk ik niet, dan had er ook wel zo'n veiligheidsluik in je dak gezeten zoals in een Volvo ipv een extra kast. Het stuur is trouwens inderdaad vreemd. Alleen als je het helemaal naar beneden duwt dan is het verder naar achteren te kantelen. Maar dan moet je wel beentjes hebben net als een dwerg. Anders dan zit je gewoon in de heftruckstand. In een Volvo is het stuur daarentegen perfect verstelbaar. Die Renault zal echt wel door een Fransman zijn ontworpen. Die doen toch altijd gewoon waar ze zin in hebben.
In European trucks, little more space should be for two persons for sleeping together, both single bed as well as double bed.And little more space for storage above the window side.Cabin should be little more backward for little space for bed.
Merc Atego 815 is i find, quite comfortable, which unlike the renault midlum with air seat and on some roads, that would LAUNCH me out of the seat, the Atego had none of that nonesense, feeling well planted and sure footed on the road. MAN TGL was awful in terms of specification, base model does't even have heated mirrors or power windows - DAF LF base model DOES and the auto gearbox. THROW IT AWAY!
Modern flat floor cabs are great, however there are a lot of features in trucks and cars now that just seem to be added at cost by designers that look to be there to boost their egos, rather than be practical for the end user...It would be interesting to see what a truck would look like if it were designed by people that have to use them all day every day. I have a bag of crap that I take to work every day and that goes between the seats so I can have easy access to it, I can't access the pull out lockers or fridges with out moving everything about. If I put it on the bunk it just falls over and everything spills out. Sometimes I,m in and out of 2 or 3 trucks every day so no I,m not going to pack and unpack it every day into lockers everytime I change trucks. A lot of trucks that came out 5 and 10 years ago with all the whiz bang new gizmos ( which we had to pay for ) are now out dated by new technology, so a lot of them are now carrying heaps of crap that was probably never or little used. A lot of motoring journalists seem to be blinded by a plethora of manufacturers smoke and mirrors rather than be able to make practical decisions.
You can't compare this to the ones with the Premium cabs or the later (est) version of it. Completely different machine. I'll take any truck at face value..and this looks by far the best yet from Renault..Ok, it's never going to be a Scania, but you won't be paying Scania prices buying this.

I bought the biggest DAF because it got 3years full warranty and best fuel economy. 24-25 liters per 100km.

A lot of nice and convenient gadgets-but no room in the sleeper! I prefer the Australian K200 Kenworths.
A Kenworth wouldn't work in Europe. The roads and towns are much too narrow for it.
