That sounds amazing. We really loved Japan, and found Shimizu to be very laid back. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.

Great video. We are booked for a cruise and one of the ports is Shimizu. Did you walk to see all of these sites? We booked a private excursion. We are not so good with direction. Do you think we should keep the tour or is it easy enough to navigate around?

Hi there, and thank you for your comment. Yes, we walked to see all of the sites, but it did take many hours to get through everywhere that I had mentioned in the video. When you get off of the cruise ship, there is a water taxi that will take you directly across though. It is very inexpensive (maybe 5 dollars) and it will save you a lot of time. It really depends upon if you want to walk on your own or do the tour. I think a tour would be great, but on the other hand, we like to walk a lot on our own. If you don't take the water taxi, then I think it may be too hot and long to get to everywhere. Thanks a lot for your comment, and have a great time in Japan!!!

@@kirktoristory thank you. We ended up booking a tour and it turns out to be a private tour with a local who live in the area. We are very excited to see this city.

What a beautiful area! I was in Japan in September last year. I have thought about Japan ever since, lol. I am excited to be going back in December!

@@JeffMelsonVlogs thanks for watching! There is a little boat launch there that is so cheap to go back and forth to where we walked to. There are a ton of dolphins in the water there. You could do a great video of them when you go!
