Hi guys! Thanks for this video, it was very helpful and had some great information. We are sailing on the Diamond this April. Definitely stinks missing a few ports but the tea ceremony is something we would really love. Hope your foot is better!
Thanks @travelwithjoshandtaylor ! We’re sure you’ll enjoy Diamond Princess. We’re fans of your channel (although we just realized we are subscribed on our personal accounts so we just subbed from our channel😁) And yes, the foot should not be an issue on our upcoming cruises! Cheers!
Great video gents, glad to be one of the first 1000! Been eyeing Princess cruises to Japan (been on a few Princess cruises closer to home in Australia and NZ) and great to hear that you had a good time despite the injury and the missed ports. I’m a bit of a photo/video nerd, so can I see that I also really enjoyed your shots of the different places you visited ( I’ve got a 360 camera too, so it was cool too see how you used yours to capture some great footage). One question: did you book the excursion in Busan yourselves or was this a shore excursion through the cruise line? I’ve been to Japan a few times before so I am more confident about making my own way around those ports, but have never stepped foot in Korea before. Looking forward to see where your next cruise takes you
Thanks for watching and subscribing! We booked the Busan excursion through Princess which worked out well because it was SO busy with traffic, even they had a hard time getting us back to ship on time.
The communication around this was not very clear, but that appeared to be the consensus. The part that caused a lot of frustration on the part of passengers was not knowing they require requirements ahead of time, or the anticipated wait times which interfered with a lot of people‘s plans. Ultimately it came down to more of a communication issue from what we could tell.
Gents I enjoy your content and have subscribed but your channel name makes it difficult to find you, on a cruise seems to bring up other channels with this in their video titles. Obvs SEO is a pain but just so you're aware from a viewers POV.
Your subscription and comments are much appreciated. We have some channel updates planned for this year and you’re touching on an important point as we continue to enjoy navigating the TH-cam world! Thank you!

I'm a little confused about the disembarkation requirement in Sasebo. Was that because you had to re-enter Japan right after Korea?

Some of your shots seem to use a drone. Was this the case?
No, we used a 360 degree camera (Insta360 X4) so it can produce a few fake drone shots!
