Thank You for showing me how to program my key fob for my 2002 Acura Mdx , you are the first one after a few video,s that I have watched that not only showed me but you also were very clear in explaining the procedure Thank You . Finally I programmed my extra key fob myself .
Thanks, it worked! I broke my original key fob where the key ring hole is, and I had to carry my keys and key fob separately. I just went on Amazon and ordered an OEM key fob for $25. This saved me time and money!
I was able to get it to work (sort of) It stops working after I take out the key. The first time it cycles, I press the button again, remove the key, will not work. If I do the same thing, I can only click the button 2 more times after the first cycle before it stops working. I have tried every combination of buttons, first cycle using lock then lock again remove key, same with unlock button. First cycle using unlock then unlock again, remove key. First cycle using lock then lock again then lock again, remove key. First cycle using lock then unlock again, remove key. ETC ETC ETC Anyone else had this issue? I am so confused, it seems to work for everyone else. I have a new battery in the fob.
@@MrAcura2002 I hear you have to buy a new keyless entry module. They have none at local auto stores and Acura discontinued them. Sounds like junkyard or amazon is the way but I’m scared to do either 🥲
Thank you for sharing this video. I was able to program a replacement key fob but only the Lock button is working. The Unlock button will not work. I've tried a couple of times. Any ideas?
Idk if you'll answer or not but when I do it and it gets to the blinking and it makes noise when I press the lock button but the car dosent lock or arms itself, I know the remote works because the light on it blinks but I don't know if it's an issue with my car or I'm not doing the steps fast enough or slow enough
It worked for me, but when I unlock it and enter in the car after a few seconds the alarm light comes on and when I try to start the engine the car starts to sound the alarm. What can I do?
I have the same problem the remote was already programmed to the car the battery died sat for about a month I charged it back up started the car went to lock it with the remote and the remote won't work so I reprogrammed it worked took the key out wouldn't work did that like five times took the remote to my other Acura programmed it to that one works fine something's wrong with the car itself it's got to be

Also have the same problem, the fob will work the first time with the key in the ignition then once I take it out it doesn’t work

Thanks, I did this and on the 4th time my doors locked and unlocked but as soon as I removed the key from the ignition it no longer worked. Any ideas?
I don't normally when I perform this it works. fallow the video exactly, maybe pressing unlock while in program mode it throws the system off

@@martinbullla7654 I tried it again using only the lock button and it still didn't work. It's so frustrating. Not sure what else to try.

Check your 7.5a back up fuse under the hood. Had same issue and found replacing that burnt fuse enabled me to program my remote.

Same dint work did like 5 time and the next de 5 time more but it dont do nothing also my fuse is good what could it be?
Worked for me! Just make sure you have an OEM remote. I found a used one on ebay for $29.

@@ccfcomputing1269 hello. I actually took into a shop and the ground popped out when I stalled out hard(accidentally)
@@ccfcomputing1269 all he told me was he pulled on ground it popped right off with no effort at all
