You mentioned lacquered in the patina'd copper razor. I have not found a finish for copper that does not just wear off within weeks or less. May I ask what you are using?
I use hypoallergenic varnish intended for metal (jewellery). There are different types and they can be found in many places on the web - I don't know where you are, so search for jewelry lacquer clear - and you will definitely find something near where you live.
@my-projects I appreciate that. I have used several in the past. Most wear off in a week or so. Especially on rings. Then people are back to having green on their fingers and hands and it just isn't a good experience. Also the polish had to be redone and people have no desire to do that work if they purchased it. If you have found some miraculous lacquer, then great. Otherwise I would expect the same. Cheers.
Hey - I always use hypoallergenic clear jewelery spray as a finish on my copper jewelery - so I don't get colored wrists and don't have to polish it very often. :) Thanks !
Wow...I really enjoyed watching this video. I've always loved copper. When you soldered the ends, did you use the copper-tin solder? I'm really glad this came up in my recommended videos!
Thank you very much 😀☺ for your great feedback. I use Rothenberger copper solder with silver content - the surface becomes copper colored if not too much is used.
Hi! Very nice work! Can I ask you what's the metal used as welding filler material? Is it pure copper or something else? Thank you very much for your sharing! 🙏
Thanks a lot :) I Use this www.amazon.com/CFH-52310-Copper-Phosphorus-Solder/dp/B001HGP2N6 - and I'm careful not to use too much because then the solder loses its copper color.
Now that's super cool... Do you have a website where you sell your work??? If you do can you please send it to me I would like to buy that copper bracelet for myself...

I Use this www.amazon.com/CFH-52310-Copper-Phosphorus-Solder/dp/B001HGP2N6 - but I'm careful not to use too much because then the solder loses its copper color and I have to grind it too much afterwards.

I use hypoallergenic jewel varnish - it is available in many places, but of course does not last forever.☺👍
Nice Job! Hope to see more
Thank you so much for your awesome feedback 👍. Of course, there will be more videos soon. Have a nice day.
I love this video! However, I am wondering what torch you use to solder the end caps? Mine is not doing the job.
Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback. ☺👍If you want to make sure the job gets done, I would recommend a Butane torch with a Max Flame Temperature: 1300°C/2400°F
@@my-projects thank you!

Do you do anything to the copper so that it won’t stain your skin when wearing this type of copper bracelet?
Yes - I use hypoallergenic clear jewel polish when I polish my jewelery - it works well.

Based on the measurements of the wire in the video (1 @ 14g 60 cm and 4 @ 14g 80 cm) it looks like the final twisted length was about 10” or 11” long…is that about right?
Yes - you are absolutely right..!😀I the video I cut a piece of approx. 2” off, so the final bracelet is approx. 8” inches long.
Love copper/bronze bracelets... Where can I buy this?

Thanks a lot. I use Rothenberger's copper solder (2 mm)
Amazing what you did. Congrats from Nicaragua
Thank you so much 😀
Rothenberger.
A combo of copper and silver would be awesome...
Thanks a lot for your feedback - yes - a combination of copper and silver could also be great!
Cheers.
@@BenjaminBausch I only use it on bracelets, maybe its another story with rings. Have you tried this: www.everbritecoatings.com/jewelry
Very cool demo. Would that turn your wrist green wearing it?
Hey - I always use hypoallergenic clear jewelery spray as a finish on my copper jewelery - so I don't get colored wrists and don't have to polish it very often. :) Thanks !
Wow...I really enjoyed watching this video. I've always loved copper. When you soldered the ends, did you use the copper-tin solder? I'm really glad this came up in my recommended videos!
Thank you very much 😀☺ for your great feedback. I use Rothenberger copper solder with silver content - the surface becomes copper colored if not too much is used.

Which concentration of sulfuric acid do you use?
In EU, you cannot get stronger than 15%.
I use 24% which can be obtained online here in Denmark, but you can probably also use 15% - then it just needs to be used for a little longer

How can I purchase one of your bracelets ???
Unfortunately, they are not for sale - I make them for family and friends. But thank you very much for your interest☺👍
