I have a question about running commercials.....I have all of my legal id's scheduled to play at the top of every hour and that is going well, my question is this, for any underwriter spots that I have,that need to be aired at specific times..is there a way to schedule these so that every time a commercial airs it does not fade out the song that is currently playing? in other words any way for it to be timed and wait for the song to end?
Simply create an event to add the commercial to the top of the playlist but do not use the play command and the spot will wait til what's playing to finish before it plays.
so at timestamp 26:56 you have the metadata exporter open and there is a tab that says streaming server do you use that as i tried it and it is all grayed out
That is actually used to update your Icecast or Shoutcast server with what song you're playing. It's greyed out because it will later be in the paid version.
Hi Roderick, I have different folders in Explorer with some containing the same songs but when I create new categories and I try to import them Radio DJ does not import the duplicate song. Do you know if there is a way around this? Thanks much.
RDJ looks at file names too, so what you wish to do may require a slight modification of one of the file names. Example: (2) Michael Jackson - Beat It.mp3 files in different hard drive folders, change one of them to Michael Jackson - Beat It2.mp3 and that should allow you to import both files since the file names are now different.
Thank you for your tutorials! I have a question, on the display that shows what songs are coming up next, only the artist is showing up on the display not the song name. I have no idea what could be causing it. Should i just uninstall everything and reinstall radio dj and all the components?

If you are referring to the upper right. It's the logo.png file in the root directory of RadioDJ. Replace it with your logo or name but it must be named logo.png.

Yes, when using the Track Rotations, RDJ actually creates a never ending automatic playlist minute by minute. You can change Track Rotations to change what type of music gets pulled as well.

Can you advise on the following: When I repeat a folder of the same artist in a rotation (I want the same artist's music to play every 15min), the songs actually only play once per hour. E.g. I have a folder with 10 Rihanna songs and I want them to play every 15min between other artist's songs, but they only play one per hour. Hope you can help...thank you.
I have noticed one thing since upgrading to 39 and then 42. There is a slight pop ( for lack of a better word) audible between tracks never noticed ot before, it can't be from the end of the content, might be the start of the next content???..
Have experienced that and I have not heard anyone else yet. Not sure what to make of that. You did a clean install I'm assuming. Check you RDJ Audio Settings in the plugin. Tyr matching the setting to what your other version has.
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials I used the same sound processing setting I used in the previous version, so I switched to soft from moderate and it made the pops less noticeable, but still there
hey Roderick sorry if this has already been asked im running a version of Radio Dj on a new machine but its windows 11 is it still not compatible ? as rotations will not work and various other bits that work great on a windows 10 machine
If you mean have two of them connected together, yes. Both must connect to the same network drive, NOT SHARED DRIVE and that drive's address must be the same in both systems. Example: \ etwork-drive-path - This may help some th-cam.com/video/g3C9lftY8mg/w-d-xo.html

Sounds like the rules are prevent what you want. You would need to use an Event to do this with No Rules set.

It works on Win11 try recreating your rotations
Is there a trick to copying events. I'm using v2043, and that option has disappeared
You should be able to Right Click on an Event and select Duplicate
