There are so many impacts that berberine can have. There are many current studies delving into it's anti-aging capabilities. Metformin is often touted as a drug that potentially increases longevity or as an "anti aging agent".
In this video, I want to draw some comparisons between berberine and metformin so that you can draw your own conclusions!

Eating meat with its fat doesn't depleat, but nourishes the body with all those vitamins. No negative side effects.
Issue is they both deplete crucial nutrients. Wiser to just exercise a bit & eat clean for blood sugar & longevity benefits.
Appreciate your videos, Dr! So full of useful information! Thank you.
Thanks for sharing. To save a lot of money you could buy bulk. 1 kg (98% pure) cost around 145 $ in my country.
Thank you. Very interesting
Great information I use berberine powder 1/4 test. In my mixed of fruits and other ingredients for breakfast mixed with water
Great video.
I’ve been taking Berberine for over a year and half . I’ve had some issues with exhaustion and lightheaded nests. I think I’ve heard it depletes iron absorption and may lead to anemia.
I tend to have low blood pressure from time to time. However I haven't experienced any problems with this after being on berberine for more than a year. I believe that I adjusted my diet enough to prevent my blood pressure from dropping out, before I began taking berberine.
Thanks, a video about enema would be great.
Check out Gerson Therapy. Works fantastic!
I would love a deep dive on Low Dose Naltrextone or micro dosing. I feel their are some similarities. ❤
Is vanadium safe before thinking about pregnancy?
Rapamycin?
Berberine did lower my blood glucose but did awful things to my stomach. Completely constipated me despite eating kefir to counter this. Any ways to counter this?
Take Senna in a supplement. 1 a day keeps me regular. Amazon sells it.
I found Phytosome Berberine to be tolerated better, and only use Berberine HCL when loose.
Psyllium husk
It caused me to go every time I take it
I have May thurner syndrome so I will add barberine to my regiment as a blood thinner. Thank you
Could berberine be making my constipation worse
Check out magnesium citrate for constipation, works great.
Nice to see an MD taking natural substances over pharmaceutical. Its not long ago famous MD Peter Attia was sitting promoting Metformin over berberine. Years back he was also in support of MSG. he is slowly waking up to these things but this guy Dr. Osborne seems to "get it" from the beginning.
Berberine and nattokinase (works on fibrinogen)?
Alpha Lipoic Acid. Dr. Burt Berkson.... see if you can find his talk on ALA.
Interesting.... perhaps everything in moderation???
🤔
What about berberine and weight loss ?
Try that and mix with Alpha Lipoic Acid combined with no sugar low carb diet and you will see results.
Which is better
Does anybody knows whether Kefir belongs to daries?
Do you mean dairy? 🥛? No, kifir does not have to be in dairy. You can grow kifir in other liquids as well, and drink that.
@@dfinite4089 yes I mean dairy - so it is not from an animal, is that right?
@@pitmaler4439 keifer from cows milk, goat milk, try coconut milk, milk from oats, soy, etc.
Both kill my stomach.
Add caprylic acid
Takes with mill no carbs not grain but fats and proteins! Fats help thu have nice pups!
Unfortunately, Berberine is not without significant drawbacks: inhibits iron and b12 absorption and can cause dizziness, headaches, vomiting, severe constipation and fatigue.
But eating meat with its fat has no negative side effects. Novel🤷♀️
Do you have any clinical trials links stating this?
Berberine is not causing dizziness. Berberine lowers blood sugar, if you are experiencing dizziness it is because your blood sugar has dropped to low levels indicating that Berberine is perhaps not beneficial for your body's individual requirements. It is your bodys adaptation that is triggering dizziness, not Berberine itself
@@itzvirt I did not experience dizziness. It is listed as a side effect on several creditable sites. In any case, if it lowers blood sugar, and lowered blood sugar causes dizziness, then, Berberine does cause dizziness.
I’ve taken Berberine for 2 years. Experience none of this
