Ed where i am from,I've tried many times to educate people about some things you often point out in your videos as to why veganism is best. So far in your country I've seen (your vids)many excuses people have made to justify animal slaughtering, but here omg it's like it doesn't matter if i throw facts to them, things that are proven scientifically yet still they have a "brighter" argument. I honestly feel like i live in a country where life will not get better for the animals any time soon, due to stupidity, tradition and religion. Infact I don't know anyone else here (excepting for myself) who is vegan. Finding vegan options on a menu is another chapter 😔
80 Slim Shady's be kind to animals they don’t have a voice that doesn’t mean they dnt feel pain or have feelings. U think ur funny fur saying well u will die a painful death. Take my word for it.
Ed is like the shining example of a vegan and vegan activist. Very willing to listen and has insightful things to say, without seeming too pushy about his ideals. Clearly very passionate about veganism and wants other to see what it has to offer without being hostile to non-vegans
I don't agree. It's a complete setup the same way Steven Crowder does it. He even stole his change my mind premise. Ed knows what these unprepared people will likely say... You can see him get excited as he readies his counter argument. Crowder stays calm and civil too. It's complete BS. There are plenty of solid counter arguments to his assertions but he doesn't debate people ready for it. Some girl from Infowars schooled his ass and I heard TH-cam pulled the video.
Rocks tho! 😂 5:30 That's a new one for me. I'm not sure this guy has ever given this much thought. Your patience is as commendable as your tireless work. You're a good man Ed!
@Vincent Gonzales Ah, I did not know this about the culture. Thanks for educating me. This is the first I have heard of it. I have heard of the spirit which moves through all living things, but not of rocks. Who bought a 70k car? Try 10 if you must know. ;) Gotta get around somehow.
@Vincent Gonzales Simnett could probably buy and travel in a jet, and still be doing more for the world than you. Does he have to walk around in sandals that he made from plastic bottles with tree vines for straps? Put the sea salt down 😂
He was a sweet and kind dude. You can see where his upbringing was leading him into a blank point with his argumentation. His mind could use some deprogramming but his heart is pure already. I trust that because of Ed's influence on him, he's soon to act in full alignment with his heart. Great work!
I agree with you, this comes with the argument of us humans "upgrading" we are here to evolve, this guy is in his way, for everything that comes into his life, I wish him light.
x_x Truly sad. But after all, vegans are still just normal human beings. And the majority of people tend to be mean without taking the time to aknowledge the story behind the person that they're juging. Being vegan does not make you a kinder individual towards other human beings. It's sad but it's true..
shoe laces When did I imply that? If anything, I adressed the fact that vegan or not, we're all human at the end of the day and we can mess up. Including being hateful towards people for strange reasons.
shoe laces On the contrary. I've observed that often times hateful or offensive discourse is a sign of defeat. As long as you have truth on your side, there is no need to lose your composure, you won even before the conversation. And on top of this, the guy in the video was respectful and open minded. Imagine if Ed started making fun of him or offended him. Ed would've lost all credibility and the guy would've probably left. Veganism is based on an absolute truth: compassion. Every *healthy* individual is born compassionate. The opposite is conditioned upon the minds of people. So all we have to do is remind people of their universal nature. You can't accomplish that by being offensive.
Lisa Bowerman I know right, he always remains calm and has a constructive reply. He has a very good, ethical approach with respect to people regardless some non-sense arguments he has to debunk
He couldn’t even make eye contact with Ed for the last third of the interview. He knew his reasoning was weak... just couldn’t bring himself to admit it
As a study of the human being, that was SO interesting to watch. His body language then, compared to how he was at the beginning. Loved this conversation. You can tell a seed has been planted (no pun). Hopefully he will continue to ponder and maybe do further research.
I also think he struggled with his reasoning. But I am a person who needs to look away when I need to focus on saying the right thing. Because I am afraid that when I am saying something important, people might missunderstand me. Since I struggle to speak the right words that properly show my thoughts ^^
as soon as the first guy started speaking it felt like I'd heard the same interview a thousand times before. I'm not even the one debating him but I already feel exhausted from the misconceptions and fallacies. Ed needs to be applauded for his patience and pure intellect. The manner in which is responds to people is just so compelling.
MegaVegan exactly, the religious cult of Veganisim.. The guy did a pretty good job though if you actually listen to what he says despite English not being his native tounge.
shoe laces You should look into the visible light spectrum to us humans - 0.05 % is visible and gives us the reality we see around us. The rest of the light spectrum is not visible and this is the most interesting evidence in quantum mechanics and theory, of other life or at least showing in more detail what is already here and somewhat benign to us.. Life is never as it seems. We like to oversimplify the workings of it so we feel safe and contented in that superficial knowledge.
shoe laces You have no debating skills and you say I have cognitive bias? The fact that you posted that link shows that you yourself think you're more intelligent then you really are and self project that idea on me.. (FYI - I care little for intelligence measuring and only for facts knowledge and truth) I wasn't arguing intelligence as this is subjective,, but you resorted to it as your only defence, because you have no come back to my findings. You suffer from what is known as "cognitive dissonance", a refusal (due to cult like beliefs & delusions) To accept the greater truths put in front of you. Just to clarify what you are... en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/ignoramus Stick to the actual subject next time and prove me I'm wrong, rather then posting irrelevant nonsense. Wasting both our time.
shoe laces What you put out you get back.. You wanted to trade personal insults on levels of intelligence rather then debate the subject in hand. If you understood irony you would also understand why I posted that link. 😉 This is TH-cam comments, one can only go into the basics of a complex narrative. I'm well versed in a variety of subject matter, and have seen how interlinked they are to each other. Quantum mechanics is actively upgrading the way we see reality through its incredible scientific process. Quantum computers and experiments such as the Double slit / Hadron colider, amongst many others, go to show what we are truly dealing with in this existence/reality. Much needed in today's confused and infighting world of social justice warrior groups and greedy corporatism. It is the Vegans who oversimplify, just so they can virtue signal how pious and caring they are for social credit. Many of them live egotistical and selfish lives, far away from the virtues they pretend to care about. At least in recent years this has become more apparent. The social media vanity project is accelerating the insane 'look at me I'm important' infantile stunts.. Admittedly, not all are doing this and are open & reasonable with their message. Although many of them eventually become ex vegans.. I understand the Vegan viewpoint, regarding animal welfare rights etc etc. If you were to focus just on that alone, it makes sense to a person looking into it. But if you bring it into the bigger picture, the moralistic argument doesn't hold up and just becomes a religious doctrine, resulting in cult like orders and controls. Such as what we can and can't eat.... ** That bigger picture is the true reality we're living in now. The actual material substance of matter in an atom is 0.002% or something close to that.. The rest of it is made up of energy waves colliding together creating unique expressions to give us what we see around us. Atoms, as you know make up us and the world we live in. It's fascinating stuff if you take the time to look into it in any depth. What we see around us is a physical manifestation of energy - *fact*. Given that and our ability to perceive a small amount of that energy in our visible reality, there are no absolutes and other life beyond our perception must therefore exist. Hence why they say that plants and especially trees have a far slower vibration in our reality, limiting their expression and conscious qualities to the naked eye.. All life is sentient, respect must be given in all cases. Which means good stewardship of the whole planet, changing from corporate factory farms to Agroforesty and Permiculture to more then easily feed the whole planet. It's already been proven to produce more food with less resources, with its holistic approach. Acknowledging there is a universal consciousness guiding all living things, usually beyond our understanding is the first step. If we just supply the right conditions and protect that, nature works perfectly well in tandem with our needs. Animals are a part of this relationship and have been for a very long time to both benefit, but the respect and care has been lost to greed and ignorance. This needs to be changed.
I think the guy is very spiritual. It’s animalism, when you believe all things, earth, fire, water and air all have consciousness and are spirits. It’s an old Japanese belief. You guys are so closed minded and judge mental. Learn your facts
@@GiRR007 Vegan logic is logical consistency with morals. Is it wrong to cause suffering? Yes. Then why do we cause needless suffering? Rocks do not suffer and neither do plants.
I love all of this but just a small suggestion: I think 2 microphones would work much better. Your street interviews are stronger because you interrupt when necessary and press home points when they're going off topic but it's almost impossible to do here with Mr. Mc Grabber! Keep up the good work!
“You interrupt when necessary” bruh just don’t interrupt, they could be saying a valid point and then you just go “no no no no not true I’m right and you’re wrong”
@@sangria7383 Bruh, it's not a monologue though? It's a debate/conversation. If you let someone speak endlessly for 5 minutes straight - it's much harder to remember, let alone address, the inconsistencies in their argument than if you address each one as they come up. If someone starts a point by saying "Well we all know animals don't feel pain therefore..." It's important to stop them at source and make them discuss that exact statement. Otherwise it can lay the foundations for other arguments that are irrelevant because the original statement was false.
shoe laces Yes he takes supplements but he did before he was vegan too, to keep healthy, as he also goes to the gym and lifts weights! The only additional ones he takes now is B complex vitamins and we just started taking vitamin D now it’s winter in England.
Yes. It is better if the titles are provocative, so people get more involved, it's what Steven Crowder does and it works well. But I'm not sure dog meat is illegal?
“rocks tho” or “plants tho” is a good point man. I mean they r saying even rocks have spirt, plants r alive. WOW that’s amazing that they see the world in that way man but how in the fuck does that mean it’s ok to kill animals? I wish to meet someone how says that someday I truly do. Someone sensitive enough to feel that rocks have spirit but sees no problem in kill animals for food. Maybe they r just on the verge of making the realization. At I hope so 🤞

Brent / Vincent - you men are awesome. Standing infront of the stereotype of 'alpha construction worker' and doing what you want to do and an ethical choice. = real men
Hey Ed. My name is Luciano. I'm from Brazil. I hope you read this because your channel was very important to me. I was a meat eater one month ago. I figured a channel out in Brazil named Fala Vegan. They take some speeches in English about veganism and translate to Portuguese to make the message get further (it's amazing, isn't it?). I started to figure your activism out on that channel. And I want you to know that your arguements, speeches made another guy on the other side of he ocean take the decision of becoming vegan. I'm still vegetarian, but I'm pretty sure veganism is gonna be my lifestyle in a close future. Your speaking changed my point of view about meat. Thank you.
Ok, this is incredible. Notice the guy’s body language... slowly, but surely, he lost confidence in his arguments, started touching his watch, unzipping his jacket, looking down, stuttering... doesn’t take a psychologist to understand what’s happening here 😂
beruga The way he talks is just an example of a sociopath in motion. He’s justified brutality. The guy is just stupid, callous and truly a worthless human. He’s a hypocrite. One can’t talk about doing good while describing the murder and then consumption of a sweet, loving, sentient being as necessary. I wonder how he’d feel if someone caged one of his family members and then slaughtered and ate them right in front of him.
Vincent Gonzales are you joking? You think I’m too proud to admit I was wrong? I am horrified at myself! I cannot believe I ever ate murdered and slaughtered animals! I can’t fast long enough or often enough to purge what I believe is the brutalized and tortured soul’s energy out of my body! I was raised probably like you and everyone else was to think it was the norm to eat meat. I had no idea where meat even came from. I remember being really little and eating bacon and having my sister tell me they killed pigs for me to eat bacon. I was so confused and horrified by what she said that I couldn’t get my mind to even comprehend anyone would kill a perfectly happy and healthy pig for the bacon that I ate. I didn’t believe her. I don’t know where I thought bacon came from but I sure didn’t think it came from a murdered animal. Once a person sees factory farming and the lifelong caging and cruelty and breeding found in these horrific places as well as seeing and hearing the emotional and physical suffering and cries day in and day out that these beautiful animals endure there is no excuse except gluttony and weakness and selfishness to continue to participate in such brutality. I feel nothing but disgust towards those who built the slaughter machines with the intent to hang and then butcher helpless animals while they are alive so people like you can eat your steak. Unlike Ed who is kind and trying to get people to understand that animals have feelings and emotions and feel pain it’s it’s very hard for me to understand that knowing animals have feelings is not already a given. People should already understand this. If you’ve ever had a pet and you accidentally step on his little tail or you yell on the phone and they hear you, you can see the visible fear or pain in their little face you can hear it in their voices and see it in their body language. Can you imagine then what they endure in a factory farm full of cruelty?? And Ed has to go try to educate people on why this is a bad thing??? Are you kidding?? People are selfish, weak monsters who blame others for their own deficiencies. If you feel shame, then it’s because you carry the shame of your actions knowing inside your soul it’s wrong yet too weak to override your desires. Nothing I say can affect anyone unless the emotion is already within so instead of reacting angrily towards me and lashing out at me for your own feelings why don’t you do something about how you feel and be courageous and triumphant over your own self-will and stop eating meat! You saw what you needed to see and what you think you saw makes you feel better about your own choices. Anyone who can say the things that idiot said is a compassionless, selfish person. He knew he was on camera so he threw on his pity innocent act and you played right into it which enables you both to keep right on allowing these atrocities to continue. If there were no demand for dead animals this would all stop. It’s so barbaric no matter how you look at it. How can you KNOW what happens to them yet continue to eat them? 😢
Thirston Howell The Bird and Friends! you gotta understand that not everyone has the same mindset. when i was younger i knew that bacon came from pigs but i never really thought about the whole situation and how it happened until i saw earthlings. i used to judge vegans because i didn't understand their point of view but i educated myself and now i'm vegan. sure this guy makes no sense at all but you've gotta understand he's not educated on the topic, although yes ed is trying to educate him on it he would probably have to actually see it to understand.
Elijah Hardie you’re right. I totally see your point of view, I really do. However, I still think that guy is not a good guy. He’s in front of the camera and he doesn’t want to come across as an unfeeling POS. His body language supports this imo. He was all arrogant and cocky and sure of his words at first. But, piece by piece Ed ripped him apart like a shark does chum in the water and he lost all ability to continue his justification for this brutal practice. Come on, he tried to throw Ed off point by saying plants are living beings too and a rock?? Really. What kind of an idiot would compare slitting an animal’s throat or justifying hearing the screams and seeing the physical and emotional pain etched in their eyes and in their bodies to a PLANT! I don’t understand how, once a person knows where the food they eat comes from and the suffering these animals go through, how they are still able do eat these beings is beyond me. All meat contains maggots, worms, bacteria and a host of decaying toxins that cooking does not remove. If people want to go ahead and ingest that and think that it’s not going to rot in their intestines and their stomach and create cancer, diabetes, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel, depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia and a host of other illnesses they’re kidding themselves. I will never forget when I stopped eating meat and then I fasted for 5 days the 💩 that came out of my body was horrifying. I was buying hamburger meat in the grocery store and a woman walked up behind me with a picture of the sweetest little cow I’ve ever seen with her child playing with it. She looked at me and said this is what you’re eating you know that right? I had seen the videos on Facebook and the horror that was going on in the factory farms and for the most part had stopped eating all animals but for whatever reason on this day I had this weakness and I just couldn’t purge the urge to continue doing what I was taught growing up which was to eat meat. Meat was meat in my mind. I had not yet fully made the true connection that the meat was once a living, loving being that died a brutal, painful horrible death and likely lived a brutal, caged and loveless life. On that day the connection hit like a freight train and after that even the times I was out thinking “oh I can grab a burger” my soul would no longer allow it. I know everyone is on their own journey but now that I’ve crossed over, I can’t understand that old way of being. Almost all of my health issues went away when I stopped eating meat. I had no idea that meat is now proven to be 100% a carcinogen. I had no idea that they absolutely 100% link it now to colon cancer and joint problems and so many other health issues. It’s so strange how your body feels so differently when you stop eating living beings. They have little eyes and noses and ears and teeth and little hands and feet just like we do. One can go to TH-cam and put in any type of animal and see precious videos of love they have for their families and for humans and how they just are exactly like us! They play, they love, they hurt, they feel so much. They can sense when we are upset just like humans can sense when their friends are upset. They are all incredible beings. In my opinion all this disease we have, it’s the punishment for our weakness and gluttony and inhumanity towards those with no voice.
It’s interesting to see how visibly uncomfortable he got when he realized that none of his arguments or beliefs were holding up against the truth that Ed was speaking. Animal eaters tend to speak about hypothetical situations, or beliefs, and it’s frustrating when they try to use these to argue against facts. Hopefully his eyes are beginning to open about how unethical animal agriculture is.
I have a sneaking suspicion that your brain has been installed upside down and back to front. I suggest you make an appointment to see a clinical psychologist and get that head of yours fixed asap.
Amazing talk. Let's keep in mind that most people don't go vegan overnight. It's hard to undo a life of conditioning where we're taught that eating meat is normal, natural, and necessary - this guy is no different. Amazing job Ed - you definitely planted a big seed in his mind. :)
As soon as the questions got challenging, and he found himself in contradiction with his words he kept looking and playing with his watch. You should leave them with a card so they can go home and research more on this topic. I love your channel! 💚
This guy's body language changed so durastically, he was soooo confident at the beginning ready with arguments and making eye contact and then towards the end he was fidgeting not making eye contact. This guy knows he was saying some real bullshit that made no sense. Why does this change my mind thing attract such idiots?
@Vincent Gonzales Really? I guess you could say hes a smart guy, but with stupid comments like even a rock has a spirit, common thats some bullshit and he knows it. He also mentioned objective morality or objective truths which are insane positions. He is also spiritual so that makes sense, but nonetheless still a retarded position. IM SO DONE WITH BELIEVERS USING THIER RELIGION TO JUSTIFY THE MURDERING OF ANIMALS. They are the real holier than thou fuckers, not vegans lol
@Vincent Gonzales Im going to upfront with you, I am only talking this way because its on the internet, if I was ever in this situation in real life this is not how I would deal with this situation, and so I guess I accept that this is not the best way to get across to people, but Im not trying to change minds in this comment sections seeing as how most of us are vegan (at least I think we are, I dont have actual statistics). If I wasn't insulting in my original post then I most likely wouldnt have posted at all because the intent was to make me feel better by having people agree with me. Also as far as I can see I didnt say anything false, or that many people disargreed with. He definitely said that rocks have spirits, like I at least get that people might think that plants feel pain or whatever, that I get, but rocks???? NAH, NAH BRUH. THATS STUPID AS FUCK. and I think anybody who thinks that should be told that they are stupid as fuck lol jk What are u talking about me being holier than thou? what have i said that makes u think I am acting holier than thou?
@Vincent Gonzales uhhh in asain culture they value rocks? that seems sus, like I dont buy that. If they do, I will absolutely stand by statement and say that thinking rockets have anything akin to a spirit is retarded. If that's how they try to understand to appreciate things, then they need to find a better way. Like maybe perhaps if it is concious and feels pain, theres a good way of appreciating things especially when your talking about murdering animals. Your assuming that they are going to solve this "puzzle." That is not a given.
@Vincent Gonzales Im confused I never assumed he isnt, i simply explained to you that it isnt a given. In order for me to assume that he wasn't going to make the change, I would have to have said something along the lines of, "He's never going to change." I dont believe I said that. You also made the claim that I was being holier than thou and when I asked for evidence of me acting holier than thou you did not answer so, "that which was asserted without evidence, Can be dismissed without evidence."
Dude come on, have some sympathy for him, he was genuinely rethinking his beliefs and looked pretty uncomfortable near the end. Props to him for having the convo, I know I couldn't if I knew thousands of people would see it.
I'm a construction worker and i don't need meat for energy lol, people that know nothing about nutrition have no right talking about it, calories are energy, meat isn't the only thing that gives you calories smh
This guys body language throughout the video is so telling. In the beginning he is so confident, by the end he slumped over playing with his watch, staring at the ground, and tripping over his words. A really sweet guy no doubt, but in the end he knew he was fighting a losing battle.
Just in case anyone is curious, 18:45 , is where the figiting begins. Lol. And notice how Ed keeps his cool like a damn ninja. Slayed. But the guy was nice and I so hope he looks into it and goes vegan..
Judging by how uncomfortable he was getting towards the end, it seeemd like he was starting to doubt his own reasoning- he may actually think more about this later and end up going vegan. Great work Ed!
I like this guy, he's not perfect, no one is, but there's room for change there, his moral compass doesn't seem to point too much in the wrong direction
17:09 bodylanguage: closing his jacket to make him feel more secure / protect him from the truth bombs, squinting his eyes bc he realizes Ed's right but he's too proud to agree with him
@@primalhealth5157 Maybe true but the vast majority of vegans are a lot more clued up on ethics, environmentalism and health than the average non-vegan.
One of my friends uncles asked me why I couldn't have dairy, and I told him I was vegan. To which he replied "oh that's not good for you, we were raised to eat meat from the beginning of time". I didn't argue back, and just walked off. Some people are so ignorant.
I've asked friends about milk before.. "where does milk come from?" And half of them didn't even understand the question. After leading them closer to the answer - cows.. I ask.. how does a cow produce milk? They answer.. because they eat grass.

@@MauriceTarantulas Central to the ideology, according to the theory, is the acceptance of meat-eating as "natural", "normal", "necessary", and (sometimes) "nice". An important feature of carnism is the classification of only particular species of animal as food, and the acceptance of practices toward those animals that would be rejected as unacceptable cruelty if applied to other species. In respect to this guys comment about construction workers, as I am. I was in a cafe in Hamstead London last week and the Lady owner was bemused when we vegainised our sandwich’s ! 2 guys in full construction attire & Hard hats. She started asking questions and was inquisitive to know more. After giving her some basic knowledge on health, animal agriculture and the environment , I think something resonated with her ! Possibly TRUTH. When we was leaving she thanked us for the information, and said that she was shocked that 2 construction workers were vegan ! Hopefully this was the start of her journey.
Ed, you’re such an inspiration to me. I love how calm you stayed even though some of his arguments were completely invalid because he’d contradict himself a few seconds later. I’m hoping to visit Unity Diner soon, I can’t wait!
This is psycho...the animal knows it is inferior to human and wants to die and be eaten to give him good energy??? Sounds like the animal wants to a martyr. I don't know where ppl go off thinking they have right to take life.
I never supported the idea that we are superior to animals and their purpose here are for us to eat. I always felt it was wrong but chose to look away and believe in British humane slaughter. Seeing the truth of animal agricultural practises made change overnight, ppl who know the truth, seen the cruelty and still choose to indulge in consuming their products....that I don't understand where ppl go off thinking they have that right. Had a friend watch Land of Hope and Glory and she felt nothing after that and still eats meat every meal...this I don't get.

Good debater up until a certain point... he suddenly crumbled and started looking at his watch/jacket a lot. Nice guy but did not make it till the end - the truth got to him, a at least part of it:)
He was a horrible debater, he looked down and fidgeted for most of that chat and when Ed debunked his criticisms he just said oh no I don't agree with that.
Super. He seemed very open minded but as you say it only lead him to a certain point. Ed The way you talk is amazing. Very well phrased points. Top work.
It’s interesting that he says we should eat less, that 2 times a week is better than every day. Why is 2 better than any more? I think he knows it bad, and that’s a start.
Ed, I just wanted to tell you how much I respect you for what you do that I never skip any of the ads on your vids :D and thank you from the bottom of my heart on behalf of all my animal friends!
you understood that everyone has to be treated with kindness and patience or it's pointless. Good job. This i one of the most important lessons in life.
and then he ends with "I tend to side with things in moderation"... while looking down, not looking Ed in the eye and fidgeting with his watch and coffee cup. Real compelling points sir..........
Earthling Ed It's been fun to watch you grow into a true educator on the topic of veganism. The way you conduct yourself in these conversations is like that of a wise sage patiently teaching young minds to think for the first time about what is on their plates. KEEP UP THE AWESOME ACTIVISM :)
Watched so many of the debates and almost everyone resorts to the “what about killing plants” point once their own cognitive dissonance starts to become apparent. I can sense the thought process that is ‘ok, yes I may not be ethical but neither are you because you kill plants’.
Immediate Appeal to Tigers. I mean this is pure logic right here: 1. If you had a farm 2. Raised animals in a Humane Manner 3. This is what Animals are for 4. In the same way that Tigers eat Deers 5. Not a right per se but we were created to Eat Chickens... ... Profit?

Patience is his middle name. But this guy was also kind of sweet despite his 'arguments'. :-)
He is unbelievably blind, you mean. And also highly selective.

I trust that because of Ed's influence on him, he's soon to act in full alignment with his heart.
Great work!
I agree with you, this comes with the argument of us humans "upgrading" we are here to evolve, this guy is in his way, for everything that comes into his life, I wish him light.
Sad to see some of us vegans calling him stupid psycho and other nasty names though :( Not a good look for the vegan movement.
x_x Truly sad.
Including being hateful towards people for strange reasons.
shoe laces
On the contrary.
We need him on the forefront of ocean cleanup. His ability to grasp at straws is amazing and I think within one year we will have strawless oceans!

shoe laces You should look into the visible light spectrum to us humans - 0.05 % is visible and gives us the reality we see around us.

If you understood irony you would also understand why I posted that link. 😉
This is TH-cam comments, one can only go into the basics of a complex narrative.
That bigger picture is the true reality we're living in now.
Okay, so animals want to die for you to eat and rocks are living and should be respected... really? Good job, Ed.
I'm surprised Ed's mind wasn't changed by those enlightened thoughts. I would have just forfeited right then and there.

And I want you to know that your arguements, speeches made another guy on the other side of he ocean take the decision of becoming vegan. Ok, this is incredible. Notice the guy’s body language... slowly, but surely, he lost confidence in his arguments, started touching his watch, unzipping his jacket, looking down, stuttering... doesn’t take a psychologist to understand what’s happening here 😂
Interesting that you posted this on Halloween (here in the States), because this guy's "arguments" were straight up horrifying :0
beruga The way he talks is just an example of a sociopath in motion.
Vincent Gonzales well put

Louis Gedo Every Time
Dude! Wrong video!
No such thing as Carnism. Who are these "Carnists"?
Oh wait you mean normal people who eat meat? As opposed to loony Vegans...mmm ok. Nice fail😎
It is a thing.
@@MauriceTarantulas
Awwww, sweetie, you're so cute when you're all triggered like that. Does it hurt you much?
Just because you deny carnists exist, doesn't mean that they don't.

I’m watching all of these to prepare for doing the same thing. I hope I can do as well as you, Ed.
Ed, you’re such an inspiration to me. I love how calm you stayed even though some of his arguments were completely invalid because he’d contradict himself a few seconds later. I’m hoping to visit Unity Diner soon, I can’t wait!
I am so happy that you exist, Ed. Thank you so much for all the work, you’re truly a hero.
Thanks on BEHALF of the animals!!! ❤️😀❤️
yeah every animal wants to give us their energy so we can look fresh and nice. ... right
This is psycho...the animal knows it is inferior to human and wants to die and be eaten to give him good energy??? Sounds like the animal wants to a martyr. I don't know where ppl go off thinking they have right to take life.
Elias Barajas agree and the same.
Malaysian are muslim
Super universal though
I never supported the idea that we are superior to animals and their purpose here are for us to eat. I always felt it was wrong but chose to look away and believe in British humane slaughter. Seeing the truth of animal agricultural practises made change overnight, ppl who know the truth, seen the cruelty and still choose to indulge in consuming their products....that I don't understand where ppl go off thinking they have that right. Had a friend watch Land of Hope and Glory and she felt nothing after that and still eats meat every meal...this I don't get.
@S Yeah I agree.
LAUGHABLE!!!!!! This dude is so tangled up in his web of contradictions. Unbelievable patience ED!!
Some of y’all are so mean to this guy at least he took time to learn about veganism that’s the first step we all used to be there.
I am going to say it again. Ed Winters, you are AWESOME. THANKS, ON BELALF OF THE ANIMALS!!!❤️😀❤️
We could easily feed the 1 billion starving people on this planet if we provided them with the water and crops we give to livestock instead.
So we should give food for free for people who are unable to feed themselves?
@@laurentfaurite9199 Umm... yes! Of course we should be giving food to people who can’t feed themselves. There is more than enough food for everyone. Nobody should be starving.
@@simonnaylor3536 So we should feed people who have no food but have lots of children in the same time?
@@laurentfaurite9199 You think we should let them and their children starve to death? WTH is wrong with you? There is enough food for everyone.

That guy was a good debater. Shame his arguments were flawed
Some might say he's a Master Debater.

I mean this is pure logic right here:
1. If you had a farm
2. Raised animals in a Humane Manner
3. This is what Animals are for
4. In the same way that Tigers eat Deers
5. Not a right per se but we were created to Eat Chickens...
...
Profit?
Just want to say you've made me understand how to do advocacy in a way that makes people not hate you but still get your points across.
