There is NO WAY that there was evidence to overturn the call on the field of a touchdown. 99 out of 100 officials would have let it stand. We, unfortunately got the 100th. He should lose his job.

This season is pretty much what most predicted before the start of the season and definitely before everyone got caught up in unrealistic expectations after the 3-0 start. The real work towards building Colorado to compete with the big boys begins this offseason. Recruiting is key for CU.

Recruiting is a key for any college team. It's what you do with the players you recruit. You have a small window since chances are your best players will declare for NFL draft after just 3 years. I don't want to say that this year was a total loss for Deion and CU, negative result is also a result, something to learn from and build upon, but the hype surrounding Deion and the whole team did them a real disservice this year, distracted them from focusing on winning football games. With all due respect to Jackson State, they never face the sort of opponents CU faces o weekly basis. IMHO, of course.
Colorado was the 18th ranked recruiting program, 1st in transfers, and 2nd in the PAC-12 for 2023, according to Rivals. Recruiting wasn't the problem.
I told everyone that Colorado would be more efficient with Staub as he wouldn't be worried about stats and would throw it away and not take sacks just to save his passing completion percentage and the Colorado lifelong (4 months) fans called me racist, a hater, etc.
He is healthy. Sanders hasnt been for weeks.

Deion had the #1 portal class by more than double everyone else in the top 5.. with that kind of talent influx.. Colorado should be sitting at 9-10+ wins right now and especially in the PAC.. the weakest P5 in the country.
I also don’t know if you’re noticed.. but Colorado has lost every single recruit for the 2024 class except one in the last few weeks.. they don’t have a single top 25 recruiting class in sight. Even with the move to the B12 and the playoff expansion.. Colorado isn’t sniffing the playoffs anytime soon.

The offensive line didn't look that bad and did they give up any sacks. Staub played much better this week. Colorado needs offensive and defensive front seven players to win a lot more games next year. Colorado can't just sign 5 and 4 stars that play CB and WR.
It wont sign top trench guys either. They're too rare to waste a year in Boulder. They're going to top programs.
Colorado has ONE player signed for next year that is in the top 300 nationally. Don't know what you're smoking, but they aren't getting ANY five stars, and just one, single four star. Buffs recruiting is ranked 77th in D1 for next year.

Northwestern with a first year coach just compiled a 7-5 season after going 1-11 last year. Not only do they play in a tougher conference but the academic standards are alot higher than Colorado. Things aren't going to get better in Colorado and Deion is leaving as soon as his son's graduate.

Colorado did a great job at the beginning of the season, as any team with talent should. Once they got exposed for not having a D-Line and O-Line it was all downhill from there. But it's something Coach Prime said all along. I never expected them to win a bowl game in the first season but the could've if the had good lineman. Next year is going to be interesting especially since Warren Sapp is expected to come in to teach the D-Line.
Really once coaches seen that sanders son doesn't know how to get the ball off quick enough they just started blitzing made the play calling easier, oh the o-line ain't great awfully funny wasn't as many sacks with a different qb lol as they say proof is in the pudding, when you lose to a 1-4 Stanford up 29-0 at half ya you suck as a coach but keep blaming the lines I get it

Staub clearly Overall is the better pocket QB and honestly looked sharp even as a freshman. Look forward to seeing him play. Guessing he’ll be jumping in the portal next year because there are some teams that are a QB away from being a plus .500 team.

Staub played well. Utah had their 2nd and 3rd string pass rushers in this game. Utah also had their back up QB play the entire game. Staub will be a back up no matter even if he transfers. He isn’t good enough yet. He will get there with development.

This isn't a hater thread. Colorado Buffs football played hard this year. I'm a Utah guy, I saw a couple of teams that played hard in the final regular season of the PAC 12. Buffs improving to 4 wins over the prior year is a good thing.

As we saw today, the team can run the ball when you put an actual back that’s built to run in the trenches! EDWARDS has played most of the downs this year and he is way too small and weak at this point in his career to be the number one back at a power 5. Wilkerson should have been the number one back this season.
The whole team needs to live in the weight room for the entire off season.

@@sfecuzzo727 after the explosive game he had against tcu teams were scheming against all that with Edwards. The 2nd game of the season they had him doubled. They really needed to use him another way like they did today with the flea-flicker play. He played 75 % of the downs and could not pick up the block 10 % of the time which helped lead to more Shadeur sacks. I saw him get spun in a circle ⭕️ because he was hit so hard against Oregon and other teams. His speed did not help against fast linebackers who could stop him from turning the corner on a sweep play. He is a freshman who has a knack for running before securing a catch which causes him to drop a lot of them. He should have been eased into college ball as they let the other 3 backs, who are bigger and have more experience, take a majority of the snaps. There may have been promises made that helped sway him from Notre Dame that the staff had to make good on. That would make more sense because it just makes no sense that he played the most snaps with how he was getting thrown around.
