Kinda like Vader. The physical actor's voice was not intimidating at all. He was kinda salty about finding out after the fact they planned on voicing over him. I don't blame him after putting in all that effort vocally.
This is the clone that got the fat thor marvel download instead of the "supreme commander I'll beam you out into space for picking on my human buddy O'Neill" download.
Michael Shanks who play Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1 is the voice to Thor 😁 Thor, the Norse God of Thunder (and not the one played by Chris Hemsworth) was a firm ally of Earth, taking humanity under his wing and helping them where he could. In the first season, the Asgard were revealed to be a highly advanced race that resemble the Roswell Greys (and played by puppets). They had tried to help humanity in the past, disguising themselves through holograms to be the large, armed Norse Gods that know more commonly. Thor was the most commonly seen of the Asgard, frequently appearing to help or to request help from humanity in their conflicts with the Goa'uld and the Replicators. Thor informed the UN Security Council of Asgard's existence, he risked his life personally to help defeat the Replicators and Anubis in Reckoning. Thor was also voiced by Michael Shanks, something that he noted in the final episode of SG-1, when Vala asked Daniel Jackson how he could tell the various Asgard apart. He replied 'the voice'.
It would be hilarious if the Greys actually participated in the show and had special guests like this one playing a part. hahahaahahahaa Talk about disclosure right in front of you without you knowing it.
No, no, they genetically engineered a creature specifically for this role and then put them down when they were done, much like all the animals in the live action Lion King remake.
Sticks and levers are used to control their movements. You can see Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tappping and Chris Judge have fun with it in the 2004 Spacey Award video here on TH-cam
Can you imagine if that were the Asgard's actual voice? The show would have been.... different. 🤣
Or the show without candice...where no asgard speaks actual lines in language and we just get strange sounds and subtitles 🤣
someone should do him with Samuel Jackson.....

Sounds a bit like Wallace Shawn … not exactly … remotely.
So, it would be Star Trek: Discovery?
Never thought I'd hear Odin with the voice of Skeletor :)
That's Freyr.
Still better than Odin from God of war Ragnarok - sounds like an average GTA villain :D
“So anyway I had her in the back of the car-“ LMAO
... and she asked, "Can I see your probe?".
“Candace, what’s my line again?” 😂
so I had her in the back of the car🤮🤮🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will never look upon the Asgard the same again.
"So anyway I had her in the back of the car..."
for some reason, my imagination turned that into "trunk of the car"

SG1: "Could you give us some of your advanced tech to help us fight the Goa'uld?"
Asgard: 0:03:
"Can we get a pad of post-it notes in here for Dufus?"
😂😂😂 Asgard Actor was just playing with the director at this point, knew they couldn't get another Asgard on set in time. 😂😂
I truly laughed harder than I should at this. Brilliant! 😂😂🤣
Can you imagine how Jack would react if an Asgard started talking like that?
No. I don't think I can.
This is hilarious 😂

This Guy!
LOL!!!!!!! the most advanced civilisation and cant remember the line!!
He sounds like he's about to fire Bob Parr.
So every movie has to hire a person to just stand by and be ready to recite a line on request? Can someone make a career out of that?
Yes
It's quite an important job
I think Michael Jackson likes Candace! :)

They must have dubbed Michael Shanks's voice in later since this isn't Thor's voice or any other Asgardian we've seen
