After 3 weeks of constantly having this song stuck in my head I decided to listen to it with the lyrics and see if it can get unstuck. Now i love it even more, let´s see if it lets me sleep!
Oh ... Amigo, que temazo! Tenía a Nightfall como mi tema favorito de Blind Guardian, pero después de oír completo esta canción ... No lo tengo tan claro ahora xD
I wish the u.s. could get this kind of performance with a full orchestra but that will never happen. Manly anywhere but here. And I respect that. We suck. Again
@@baabaaer Hmm honestly I don't know haha I'm not an historian. But that's a great question. I've read that Rome conquered Greece in "The Battle of Actium" but like 1000yrs after the war of Troy so I don't know either.
The Iliad poem says or suggsts that Rome was founded by the sons of those who escaped the Fall of Troy, including Paris. Which is why the song says that revenge will be taken by Rome, much later, in the form of the Roman empire.
I find it really weird that the live version of this song is my favorite blind guardian song of all time... yet i hate the official version so much i cant even listen to it once... NOT EVEN ONCE
@@evilpotatoman9436 to me, it only makes it more powerful. I understand what you mean, but to me power metal can definitely be edited to increase uuuh epicness, I guess
@@classypotato9255 i agree too actually just not to the point where i cant hear the lead singer anymore. also i just realized that your name is classy potato... i guess all metal fans have the same potato problem :)

Jesus what a song. A Night at the Opera is not my favorite Blind Guardian album, but this is easily one of my favorite songs of theirs.
A masterpiece, for the ages.
I get chills every time I hear this masterpiece. Well made video too. Thank you!
Animus Rex Thanks. Sadly this song has copyright from a company. I don't remember the name but that's why it can't be watched in smartphones :c
My most favourite song of all time! Thanks for the lyrics!
Uma das melhores músicas da história, e não só no nicho do rock!!!!!
Obra prima é pouco!
Uma obra prima, simplesmente.
Salve BR
Holy moly I had forgotten how epic this song is, how as a kid I was reading the CD leaf for the lyrics playing this on repeat.
This is why i love Blind Guardian
This is exactly what I hoped I'd find for this amazing song. Thanks!

Por cierto, 10:15
La mejor parte de la canción sin duda alguna. Ese ritmo es pegajoso jajaja
Nightfall es muy buena también 👍
9:58 the part ahead is nutty
epic song for the eternity!!!!!
Perfect song, the only thing is it doesn't wind calm and silent in Çanakkale (the city where the Troy is). It is always wild
What a song! Thanks for your great work! :)
Thank you for your work!!

So TH-cam is putting ads midsongs now? Fantastic song butchered by TH-cam's stupidity...

Which tuning? Haha
Greetings
You got an ad in the middle.
Wait what?
:D
I’ve been singing the wrong lyrics for about 20 years lol
the ad is a sh^t :(
Yeah they put It there :(
These pictures look over a millennium out of date for this song.
metal+showtunes?
Piezon
I wonder what these lyrics should mean. To me, they don't make any sense.
It's about the illiad, an ancient greek Epic poem that tells about the Trojan war and the ten year siege of the city of troy

@@classypotato9255 its probably the too much editing and group singing in the official
the live one is just hansi singing.

The song was enjoyable coming from the rare American who is against both democracy and socialism/communism.
im sorry are you equating capitalism to democracy? one of the tenets of socialism is democratizing the workplace, so what are you saying?
Music is music... how does political orientation factor into that at all?
Masterpiece!!!
Epic of all time \m/ Masterpiece of 'Blind Guardian'
