    Another really nicely edited video and perfect bit of tiling. You're an artist.

    You’re fabulous and make it look so easy but we know it’s not! You happen to be an artist, I, not!!!!! Well now I will try but no promises… 🤞🙏

      Ah thanks for the kind words, Always just take it slow and spend time on preparation and setting out, and you'll be fine!

    Quality workmanship, i cant believe how clean you are, whenever i am doing any tiling, i end up covered in adhesive on my hands and usually my trousers, after watching you i should hold my head in shame. Loving the way you are doing the tile trims around the window, the (designer look) it looks great, i have always done mine the other way, but i will start to do it like yours now, i think it looks more professional. Is there a trick or system for doing the trim the way you do?, how much overlap of tile + adhesive should you add around a window etc. PS what is your name? I want to talk with you by your name and not call you mate all the time, i am in Essex, what part of the country are you, just incase you need a free labourer one day😂

      Haha thanks mate, I'm not so clean when I use black grout though :) Yeah nice, It is a more modern way of doing it, When you can. Generally a tiles thickness plus like 5-8mm for adhesive (as it will compact down) Is fine. I'm just filming some footage atm talking about trim and recess's/niche's. So should be a bit more information in there when it's done. It's Alec btw, I'm down South

    Do you use grout or silicon in the corners? Around widows? Thanks

      @thebespokebloke  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, Generally It all gets finished with silicon.. Internal joints, windows, around wet areas, niche's e.t.c

    👍🏻👍🏻 where do you buy your hole cutter from? Do they fit any angle grinder. I used one of your videos to do a feature wall in my bathroom, turned out great 👍🏻

      Awesome, Glad to hear, That's what it's all about! So the one's I use are made by Bosch, They are M14 (22.2 mm in diameter) size which fit's most generic angle grinders, But just double check first. I buy mine from my wholesale store, but In the UK you can get them from most places, even Amazon I believe. On Pro Tiler Tools here you can see all the sizes, Typically for a normal copper pipe 20mm is perfect and a pipe with a water cap on 30mm is good. www.protilertools.co.uk/product/bosch-dry-speed-m14-diamond-hole-cutters?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw_LOwBhBFEiwAmSEQAVNLp0fiURMZaqnWk4AuHR3Bb9xReFjQTQSzMOesG7GOIx4fXWOsPRoCGh4QAvD_BwE Hope that helps!

      @@thebespokebloke legend, 👍🏻 my local tile place recommended a drill bit and keep wetting it.
      If my floor tiles are all straight and i cant come up off them onto the walls matching it, would you recommend brick bond on the walls. There the same size tiles just different design on them. Not sure what would look best

    • @thebespokebloke
      @thebespokebloke  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@garinoakley Yeah the drill one's compared to an angled grinder one's just don't have the power imo, Never liked them! Regards tiles, I think it really depends what look you want in your bathroom, I'd say if you want a more contemporary look, Don't brick bond them but it's really personnel preference to the design you had in mind. It's always nice if you have the same size tile if you can match wall and floor, but it can be tricky for how things set out. But yeah I'd say just try and not make the joints look like you tried to match them up but were off, So try and keep them a fair bit apart if it doesn't ruin you wall set out. But in all honesty I'd concentrate on the wall tile set out if the floor is already done, accept they won't match up (it's not the end of the world, and I'm sure things will obstruct certain views down the bottom) And fingers crossed when you get a decent set out, when the tiles meet, the joints aren't to close in some areas
