- *Special thanks to Chuck Kaady for letting me look around the site!*
After an extensive renovation, the former Lozano's Car Wash in Mountain View, CA has reopened as Kaady's second California location and 18th site overall. It is unique in that Kaady only offers exterior washes at the location with no self serve vacuums on the property.
The wash tunnel has the longest conveyor of any Kaady site at 145', and is the company's third location with an AVW dual belt conveyor. It is equipped with a pivoting/oscillating presoak arch, custom built reverse hugger-style side washers, 2 sets of wraps, 2 sets of rocker brushes, 2 sets of contour brushes, 2 customized sheet mitters, a dual arm top brush, 2 pairs of wheel blasters, and a 12 producer 240 HP Kaady self-built drying system. Kaady uses their own chemicals at their locations, and their top package (not filmed because I took this during their free wash period) includes Liquid Polish, Ceramic Dura Guard, and wheel cleaning. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
This is one of the coolest washes I've ever seen!
I’ve wanted to see this wash operating ever since it was being installed. Thanks for filming.
You should visit all the Washman , Eco washes, and other customized tunnels in Washington and Oregon. No pressure. Great work!
Yeah, Kaady has a lot of interesting projects out there. Will see what I can do.
*Hopefully we can start seeing some good INSIDE THE CAR view videos...*
These are really good.
I have no plans to ever post more videos taken from inside the car.
Never seen dryers like that before.
Nice. It 1:37 looks like the telsa is going to be nice and clean
Very nice wash! Idk what to do because I got a new car and they told me not to go through car washes with brushes. I love going through the car wash so I’m hoping I can still somehow go with my new car.
It is much safer to wash your car in a friction tunnel than via any other method, so you should be fine to use automatic car washes. A lot of touchless setups use hydrofluoric acid to make up for the lack of friction, which dissolves a layer of the clear coat, and hand washing (using any method) has been proven to cause hundreds of times more clear coat damage than automatic washes.
@@SFCarWashChannel that’s was I was thinking too, plus I have taken my previous car through tunnel washes with brushes hundreds of times and it still looks great.
Wow, those dryers make me think of a Lozano's Car Wash, but more futuristic, along with the newer equipment as well. I can assume by the name that the equipment is Kaady and AVW or just Kaady?
It’s Kaady and AVW
Kaady built the old main drying system that was at this site when Manny Lozano operated it. The current drying system has the same style of producer, though much of the design has been changed.
@@SFCarWashChannel Wow, super cool!
@SFCarWashChannel Wait a sec, this looks to have been formerly a Lozano's Car Wash Location!!! This place really did have the old blower system of a Lozano's Car Wash Location! So basically, the old dryer was a first generation of a Kaady Drying System?
@@kingcarwashnfansdrivesetc8364 Yes, and I filmed it back when it was a Lozano's site.
Can you visit the quick quack car wash at Lancaster Ca
Unfortunately I almost never get out to that region anymore, but I will see what I can do if I find myself out there.
@@SFCarWashChannelOh ok 👍 no problem
What kind of dryers are those I've never seen dryers like that before these are really big one's
Kaady built the blowers themselves.
