**250 CPH** Classic Car Wash: Saratoga Site

Classic Car Wash operates 4 legendary full service stores in Santa Clara County, CA. While on the surface their tunnels don't look like much, they run them at extremely fast speeds to keep up with the customer demand for a perfectly clean, dry, and shiny car in as little time as possible. While this is a big site with a 175' conveyor and 4 entrance lanes, maximizing use of space is a challenge. Exterior customers are forced to exit the property immediately upon their wash service being finished, with little space between the end of the conveyor and the street. They frequently fill up their full service finishing area, making it critical to keep cars moving. This site has an InnovateIt conveyor, 1 set of AVW wraps, 3 MCWW F2B mitters, 2 sets of Coleman Hanna HCRP rocker brushes, MCWW Bulldog wheel brushes, self-built wheel blasters, a 120HP ProtoVest drying system with an IP Stripper, SideShots, and an IP330, MCWW Super Shiners, a Dry N Shine top brush, and Tommy mirror dryers. Classic uses QualChem chemistry, and it allows them to put out one of the best cars I have ever seen, even with the challenge of 250+ CPH chain speeds, minimal friction equipment, and short conveyors at some of their locations. While they do towel dry cars at the end of the conveyor, cars come out so dry that all their staff has any need to do is touch up mirrors and anywhere water is blown out of crevices. The top exterior wash includes the lava bath, multiple applications of Luminaura, NanoNauba, and tire shine.

This car wash is like the 185’ Bennys car wash with protovest dryers.

Its fast, but all the wraps and mitters would have scrubbed the entire vehicle. The Protovest Dryers are a good fit for this fast tunnel. The IP330 looks really cool with the custom blue plastic pieces instead of yellow.

Those dryers should have some kind of protective edge since they are touching the cars otherwise they will cause scratches.
