John Carpenter and Debra Hill gave him those qualities when they created the character. Also Michael Myers was supposed to be a one off. John Carpenter wanted the Halloween movies to be anthologies. Each movie would have their own story and characters, but Michael Myers was such a hit the studio went against that premise.
I get it. But the reason they gave as to why he’s alive here was one of the worst excuses, and one of the most forced. You’re telling me that paramedic didn’t try and take the mask off, and somehow didn’t break any bones getting thrown through a windshield (he stood up almost immediately) and hit straight on by the van? The only reason he reached out at the end of H20 was because he knew he was gonna die.
IMO, I think it’s the first 15 minutes that everyone hates the most. After that the film isn’t THAT bad. Cut out the forced, nonsensical, and contrived reason why Michael’s alive, and Laurie’s stupid death and you get a pretty good B film.

Funny thing is, for as much as Sara screams in the movie, and as powerful as her scream is supposed to be, the actress didn't have a good scream, so they had to overdub every single one.

The entire theater laughed. 🤣 the most entertaining scene in the movie. @14:24 I figured he gave the patient the knife so he can pin the murders on him. The psych hospital had the worst security and protocols already, I doubt there were any cameras in the hallways for them to even know who did what. They definitely didn't even bother to try to find Michael this entire time.
The explanation of how Micheal is still alive after H20 makes no god damn sense! For instance- 1. How did the guy fit Michael’s costume if Michael is taller than him? 2. Why didn’t the ambulance people take the mask off when zipping in the body bag? 3. How didn’t no one noticed Micheal holding the knife with the crowd? 4. Why didn’t the guy try taking off the mask before being beheaded?

Between the stuff at the beginning in the Asylum and the Busta scenes you guys described in the review it feels like they gave up on making this horror movie and decided to make it a comedy. I want to watch this because of how hilarious this sounds lmao.

Before the new Halloween 2018, the true sequels to me that were canon were. Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween: 20 years later. This along with the rest i didnt count. However I have to admit they had their moments. Like this movie with Busta Rythms doing a kick to Micheal Myers.

I first saw this classic Halloween “sequel” in theaters then; now, I got it in my iphone library for eternity. Bless Busta Rhymes’ contribution to this franchise; I’m not mad. He did his best with what they gave him; I love this sequel because of Busta R. & Jamie L Curtis cameo🤷🏻♀️🏚⏳
