Alienware M14X Ram upgrade in 5 minutes

Nice! I usually remove power first by disconnecting the battery or use an anti-static wrist strap with grounding wire for 5 bux. But I live in Vegas, the air is super dry which makes it more prone to static electricity.

CPU, RAM, and GPU all have a part to play, but yes, in most cases RAM will give a performance boost.

It shouldn't, alienware(dell) aupport openly tells you to take the computer apart sometimes. xD Its awesome. Also just to be safe, if you ever need to rma your alienware, just put the original ram back inside before yoju send it.

will the M14x take 1333 and 1600?? Mine came with 1600 and I see that the Ram you bought was 1333.

I dont think the r1 I5-2410 will support up to 16gb. 8GB is the max
