Its identical to my older cub cadet ltx1040. Yours being the 46" cut and mine being a 42" cut. Yours also has the 2 cylinder engine whereas mine has a single cylinder. After 8 seasons and 260 hours I'm well satisfied with mine. One thing to watch for as it ages is for your to grease the bracket the pto cable hooks to on the top of the deck where it pivots. Mine would be stiff after sitting throughout the winter and eventually I bent the pto engagement handle. A little grease would've prevented it from happening. New belts every few years and consistant tuneups and oil changes will keep it going well for 20 years or more.
These are actually Lawn/Garden tractors the Kohler 7000 series Engine is designed after the Kohler Command Pro Commercial Engine 3 year Unlimited hours Warranty this tractor is a little tank love the 5 inch turn these are the very best in 2021
I purchased a T240 a year ago from Lowes. I'm having a terrible issue with the belts. I've had 5 mowing belts and 2 drive belts installed I just got it out of the shop I had both belts replaced oil change and tune up. It's showing 124 hours on the clock. After paying $ 455 bucks I mowed half my yard ( I have bout 1 acre) the deck belt flew Off! I'm done with it I'm calling telling them to pick it up get the belt repaired them I'm selling it half price. 1200 will take it home
I don't own a Craftsman riding lawnmower but I like the the turning radius on your mower but my step dad owns a Craftsman gold series engine black Craftsman riding lawnmower
It won't be long you won't have reverse what happens if a lot of grass gets up under the tractor grass will fill up and you won't have no reverse you had to jack it up get under it cleaned it out about every 3 months Craftsman should have put some kind of plate to keep the grass out of it good luck but other than that I give it a five- star
Umm, I clean it out every time i use it? That’s what it says to do. My biggest complaint is the mulching kit. I have to clean out the grass about every 5-10 minutes using it. And I don’t mow low at all. Actually, I mow once a week and the deck it fairly high.
I just got a 2014 version of this mower . It’s missing a part so the blades won’t engage . It goes on the deck on the front of the right side . The best I can tell it connects to a bracket that hangs dumb and might have a spring that connects some where to hold the pulley. Does anyone know what that part is , what it looks like or what the part number is ?
I bought a 2020 troy bilt bronco 42 inch cut 19 horse briggs i bought it from a guy that bought it brand new then he got sick and passed away i bought it from his son and used it three times I bought it with less then 10 hours on it i paid 550 how did I pay to much for it I'm special needs I use it for my small mowing business how I love it did I pay to much for it
@@raysofsunshinelawncareserv4736 Cut my lawn the other day. It's kind of loud but that 22hp Kohler really has some power. Climbed a 30 degree hill with no problem.
The T240 I bought last year. It was $2099 at Lowes. I also bought a mulching kit. The mulching sucks though. I have to clean it out every 5-10 minutes of use or it will leave clumps in your yard. I’ve done everything the manual tells me to do and it still does it.
These mowers are junk. They are poorly designed by a company called MTD. The y are cheap have lots of small failures and make warranty repair not worth it. Stay away find a better mower unless you want constant issues.

Very nice rider. Man in my opinion, Craftsman knocked it out of the park with this lawn tractor. Thanks for sharing
My 2015 craftsman t2000 was free...I put a new cam and lifters set in. I learned on you tube. It looks and runs perfectly. I even waxed it.

It's not a garden tractor. It's a lawn tractor. It's an MTD mower.
I bought this mower today it will be delivered on Thursday can't wait to mow my yard

Same as Troy Bilt Super Bronco other than Super Bronco has electric PTO
Metal, or plastic transmission housing? If plastic...good luck

I bought one but didn't get it yet. The lights stay on all the time. Is the battery recharged during use like a car?
Yes, the lights are always on. The battery charges while riding, yes.
