A million thanks. You saved me a couple of embarrassing phone calls and possibly some serious service call money. My new 2200 was delivered from Lowe's yesterday. Before they left we started it up to be sure all was okay; it was. What we did not do was run it. All the rest of yesterday I struggled with every button and lever on the machine and I could not get it to move forward. Only with your video did I discover they had left that small silver lever OUT after they wheeled it off the truck -- making the gears unengaged to be hand pushed. Unless that lever is reinserted the mower goes nowhere! Thanks so much for your informative video.
Same here. I got a clearance mower at Lowes, without manuals. Unfortunately, my old mower was different, and I spent hours watching how to replace the transmission belts, etc. you saved me!
And FYI people, I already had an issue with mine. Ran like crap, like the choke was stuck on. I used warranty & they found water in my carb. And I know gas was fine because I used the same gas in my zero turn mower, ran fine. The plastic tank, under the right conditions (my opinion is when direct sun hits gas tank filler neck) creates moisture. Drain carb bowl & you should be good. I add sea foam to gas now. Cap full of the bottle to 5 gallons.
That rod is because its a hydrostatic transmission. You pull that out whenever you need to push it, or tow it if it breaks down, or to load into a truck.
They gave me one with a faulty seat, same model. Kept shutting off. It was the safety switch under the seat. Part was never put on under the seat at factory.
You have made a mistake. This mower is capable of mower I b reverse. Start engine mower some Gras in forward then while blades are engaged turn key to the left once and press the yellow triangle on the dashboard. Once this is complete, you will be able to move forward and reverse with the blades engaged...You're Welcome 😊
So I heard. Thanks. I been meaning to do an update but that's more like an introduction to it since I only had it for less than 24 hours when I made the video. Have a nice day
The first Run of the turn tight series Tractors 2019 to 2021 were better Tractors stronger transmissions and other things..T240 T260 T310 were the best..
I just bought a 2020 troy blit bronco 42 inch cut n 19 horse briggs and stratton engine the guy I bought from his dad, , and then he used it 3 times and then he passed away. So it's less than 10 hours on it. did when I got this year? I paid 550 .Did I did I pay too much work? Do you know if they're plastic transmission or aluminum
Whoops me like you bought a MTD. Which is not the same as what Craftsman used to build you can get that same more in a yellow color and they call it a Cub cadet and it also is not the good old Cub cadet we used to get.... So you got a red MTD with a single cylinder which would be better with a double cylinder.. ... If you have the S style spindles which I believe you do your spindles and blades will be very expensive as there's no aftermarket ... If you're more does not cut completely equal and suck up the grass and cut it completely .. I would take it back immediately before your 30 days is up. I think there's more cost you $800 more than it did 2 years ago.....😮
The most uneducational video I have ever watched. maybe you should’ve owned more for more than a week before you started making how to videos you were wrong on some things and left out so much

Thank you so much. The part in the back of the lawn mower to make it go is what I was having trouble with.

If you press the triangle symbol above where you place the key, it will allow the blades to stay engaged while going in reverse.
