Huge Dyson fan here…owned many upright vacuums of theirs and now the stick vac…love it and their products! Have the circular fan for over 14 years and still working like a charm!!! Just bought this fan for the purifier and the heat and cooling is a total
Plus! It’s so quiet and so effective! We have it in our bedroom and have Pets and the past two nights I’ve used it. I woke up without having a stuffy, stuffy nose!!! The price I paid was worth that alone!! I noticed I sleep a little better too because it’s easier for me to breathe! I’m a true believer and you get what you pay for and Dyson never has let me down! Love this thing!!

Hello, could you please tell me, in heater mode does the unit give off a bright glow like an iridescent bulb or heater would. Is the heat produced in the bottom of the unit and sent out the top? Thank you!

Hey, thanks. I use it in my office (12qm) and have it set to 24 degrees without other heating, works pretty good imo.
At 10 speed it makes a weird sound, is this a defect?
I have had the same unit, the gold version for around a year now, set for heating in winter 4 hours per day on the scheduling option, and in summer just disable the heating entirely and enable as and when needed for the cold fan, OK they are pricey, I paid £700.00 for my unit, BUT!, not having to use my underfloor heating which takes much longer to heat up my apartment and is a noticeable increase on my bill, this gives me a much quicker feeling of warmth whilst cleaning the air, I am very happy with the product over all.
Cooling options works also in summer, or just fan circulating?

Just got the HP07 model yesterday and tested the heater last night, it's too noisy even with the night mode which supposed to be quieter. I got woke up several times from the noise last night.
Did you also find the displayed room temperature inaccurate? I found 2-3 degrees difference between the real temperature and the one that the the machine shows.
Have you experienced the common whistle / motor rattle sounds
he said yes...at least about the whistle sound.

If you mean control them simultaneously, no. But you can connect them within the Dyson app and control them separately
I think you hit the nail on the head as far as cooling goes. It "cools" air, it does not make it significantly colder. Only an air conditioner can do that. But beyond that, I think it's worth the price when it's on sale.

Just air circulation, it does not affect the air temp unless in the heat mode.
One cannot use is the same sentence work and desk.

Exactly my question. Imagine you are afraid of aircons as they make one sick. Is this machine circulating and cooling the air enough to make it breathable in a flat in the city in hot summer?
Why would people think the cooling is an air conditioner ? I thought it would be common sense.
Nah, u should see people giving negative reviews, them saying my appartment is not cooling down, it’s not making my room cool, it’s not fighting climate change 😂😂
Maybe it’s because it has a toggle to lower the temperature on the display when I’m cool mode. I just received mine and wondered why it had the ability to lover the temp in cooling mode, as far as the degrees are on display. I told my husband that didn’t make sense on z fan, unless it had some sorry of Freon in it.
Having any fan up against the wall will no be efficient.
