I just got 2 of the prettiest blue peacocks I've ever seen to add to my small flock. Do you have any ideas for names? I know your birds have some cool names
@@dr.sheilasfunnyfarm9368 They're 2 year old males, Indian blue, their father was white so the one has white in his wings. I think that's called split to white.
@@franknberry333 anytime I hear a great name for an animal, I note it in my phone. I have about 100 or more names that I go through when I get a new animal to see what fits. My males names are Captain peacock, Romeo, Hamlet, Hezzekiah (after my great great great grandfather), and multiple others. I like using stately or elegant names for my peafowl.

I lost a peacock a couple of months ago, he was a real sweetheart, and his name was Captain Peacock, I'm a big fan of Are You Being Served, and I also named one after my Grandpa, his middle name was Henry, he was King Henry
@franknberry333 I lost my Captain Peacock to a huge raccoon, along with about 10 chickens. I still have Mrs. Slocum. I use names from Disney characters quite often.
