Very accurate summary of pros & cons of living in Zimbabwe. Born there in 65 but left in 98. I have been fortunate since to travel around the world, from the Amazon to to Las Vegas and I can hand on heart say that the weather and laid back way of life in Zim is second to none. Politics sucks there, but Zimbabweans are the friendliest people on Earth. I miss my place of birth terribly, but I treasure my memories and now just make new ones as I travel. Thanks for sharing this, I really enjoyed your vid.

Say that again.. This place is peaceful and safe... I'm from south Africa and the change has been mind changing... The food is so natural and I see the beauty as well... And you can jog and hike with your phone hahahahhaha... I love it here besides the economic challenges... I really love it

Love this! We have been here for three weeks and I told my husband yesterday I am blown away by how nice and helpful people here are. Coming from Southern California, we just aren't used to that.

Hello Lea. Great job on your video. It was very informative & engaging. I’m a nurse in North Carolina, married to a Zimbabwean as well & planning on visiting this summer to finalize our move with our 2 boys. My last trip to Harare was in 2011...really love & miss it. I will love to connect with you on the issue of nursing license conversion. I do need education and assistance about that, please. Thanks

I’d never seen a “real” thunderstorm until I lived in the Bush in Zim. 🥰

Absolutely love the video, it's nice to hear from someone who didn't grow up in here. I guess familiarity brings contentment, as a person who has been here from birth it's easy to overlook the nice things Zimbabwe has to offer. I totally loved my Mtarazi experience. And I'm also looking forward to going to the US for college so I'm dreading the documentation process already

m really impressed by how you have adjusted to Zim and especially the currency/shopping issue. Moved to Zim and I still struggle with this. I let my husband do all the shopping.
