I deeply appreciate the nonjudgmental, non shaming interviews. So respectful, sincere, supportive, and raw. I have certainly learned and expanded my understanding with this channel.
I am so proud of you for sharing your story!! My mother was schizophrenic. I understand that rabbit hole I can recall the change in her eyes. She went a long time with no treatment. It is a hard disease I wish I had been kinder and more supportive. I was a angry child/teen I didn't understand. I just wanted her to be normal and she couldn't be the mom I longed for. I understand now. I wish you luck and few and far between episodes in your life. Keep being brave and open ❤
I heard about this guy who has a service dog who greets people when he tells them to. If he’s hallucinating and tells his dog to greet someone who isn’t there the dog just looks at him. Seems like a really helpful tool.
That's a great idea. Being able to get a "second opinion" as it were. I ask other people "did you hear that?" all the time, but people aren't always available...
Another simular thing I've heard of is using your phone camera, if you can take a picture of the person or see them through your phone then you know that they're real.
I'm bipolar and schizophrenic. I also have a difficult time sometimes. I also fear that one day it may take over. You are so loved. I love you my friend. We wont let this take over. My meds help alot and so does the Lord. You are in my prayers. I love you and you are loved deeply by God. The stigma really sucks with mental illness but you making this video helps all of us . Thankyou!
Bro this channel is one of the real heart-warming channels out there. It's awesome to see you talk to these awesome people and spread awareness and warms the heart of the wonderful people that you are talking too.I just want to say keep up the awesomeness.
We need to protect people like him, there needs to be more education about people with these lifestyles and it should be taught either in schools or at least addressed by them. Recent generations are coming forward to make a breakthrough using tools such as the internet and their voice to create welcoming communities to support one another and that's progression in its kindest form. Glad to see it and keep doing what you're doing!
I wish schools (especially middle school, high school) shed more light on these conditions. Just him explaining the Tourette’s and schizophrenia has shed much insight as to how he feels and what’s going on in his life. Education is the key to dismantling ignorance and the stigma around many issues we may not understand. Thank you for sharing this video
The grocery store story made my heart hurt. I wish this channel was mandatory watching/reading/listening for everyone who exists so we can all be able to understand each other a little better and have more compassion for each other. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Isaac! Take care! 💕
This guy is amazing, he acts, speaks and thinks like a best friend....I would totally be his best friend, and hold his hand and reassure him that he's not alone in every crowd we walk through...totally adore this guy.
You come off as an intelligent, thoughtful, and caring person. I wish you the absolute best in your life journey bro. We all deserve to happy, cared for, and loved. 🙏🏼
What a wonderfull person! He's so calm, clear, without jugement. I learned so much hearing him. Thank you so much Isaac for sharing your story, your life!
Isaac, you are so strong. You are so capable, and you shouldn’t have to hide your tics, but the fact that you do your best to control them for others shows the vast amount of empathy you possess. The world needs to get on board, because you are so valuable and so deserving of a great life.
Chris, you are a stellar human being. Such caring and graciousness in your interviews. I'm glad to share this planet with you and am grateful for your work. Thank you.
Way to go Isaac. Too many people fear what they don't understand. I've got friends with both of those issues that plague you. I've never seen them combined. Stepping up lets those who want to understand, learn and want to face their own fears. Keep growing. Also relating a tic to a sneeze makes it more relatable. That is good insight.
thanks for showing videos with adults as well! it's super interesting to get an in-depth perspective of someone dealing with mental issues, how they want to be treated, what they struggle with. would be cool to see videos with different people with the same condition as well. thanks for your hard work! and empathy. you're really remarkable in how you're able to relate to different people in a way that matches their energy
“Because I’m annoying” bro so is everyone else lol wish I coulda been ur friend in school we could’ve vibed. I’m so sorry you didn’t have people willing to see you for who you are
I appreciate so much that you as the interviewer… you seem to understand very well when to be serious and when to be fun and smiley like with younger interviewees thank you for your hard work!
Such a sweet and intelligent guy. Please Please! Don’t hide and deny yourself, friends, future friends, and life because of mental issues or tics. You’d be denying the world your gifts and all that you are. Plus I think your tick is cute. It reminds me of my son, when he was little, he would wink and point at me to TRY and get out of whatever mischief he was in. I learned that with my own issues people will either understand or not and that’s usually due to their own insecurities and issues not yours. I hid away and made myself miserable for too many years because family didn’t understand and made fun of my depression and health issues. Once I met my husband and his family and realized how loving and accepting people could be it changed my life. Isaac you never know who will see your example and be better for it. Feel free to reach out to me here if you ever need or want someone to chat with. I wish you the best!
I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective depressive disorder and I would totally be willing to do an interview for the show if you haven't done one yet but it would probably have to be in a neutral space, and I would have to be allowed to bring my dog!
Thank you for the courage to sharing your life……..you are such a likable , genuine person. I have had a very challenging problem for periods of my life. I feel I understood a lot of what you have talked about. I enjoy listening to you and hearing your understanding of the whole “life thing”. Never give up….there is so much that will happen in your life that you don’t want to miss. I really like you!
I can't imagine dealing with schizophrenia and tourettes. Or either one. My day today pushed me to my absolute limit - it really did - and I don't have what anyone would consider a major challenge. Definitely some moderate ones, but nothing like what this amazing man handles every day. He is really strong.
I see a very strong man, with the right attitude to control himself. I compare this situation with a disconfigured computer, in which the computer is making its Best to not lose the control. I admire this man and hope one day the science can find a cure.
Issac, I hope you are doing well and know that you are not alone. God is always with you even if everyone has neglected you. Anyone reading this you have that same promise that He will never leave or forsake you when you seek him. ✌️
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, when you loose the thought in a sentence it is kind of like petit mal epilepsy that I had and I struggled to find my thoughts again what I was talking about. Bless you 🙏
Ive been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. Medications, a strong support system, mindfulness, prayers all have been of tremendous denefit in helping me cope with this condition. Getting the right medications that work for you and taking them regularly is also very key. Hope this helps you and that your symptoms improve. Praying for you.
I have Shizofrenia since i was 17 or 18 , i am now 24 i was diagnost when i was around 20 or 21 , its difficult having shizofrenia , hearing voices seeing things that look so real feeling things , it just gets me mad annoyed bothered i cant do nothing about it , also i was taking meddication but i stoped , it was messing up my stomach it used to get me dizzy i feel better now that left them pills , used to se a doctor but i have this addiction i smoke marijuana and the doctors used to tell me if you dont leave the marijuana how is it that the meddication sopposed to help well i stop going they didnt realy helped me , because sometimes i feel like i need to be in a mental health facility for good that way i dont hurt my self no more o hurt other people , by the way i was a hard meth addict but im clean now im going to 4 years clean now , all i got to say is keep your head up 👍🏻
i have Tourette's too and yeah i feel like it is kind of like a sneeze where it just comes out and sometimes i don't notice until someone tells me "hey why do you twitch your neck so much?" I would say sorry it's something i can't control.

What a lovely, thoughtful, intelligent person. Isaac, you are loved and supported!
Isaac explains himself so well. Very personable with a gentle disposition. Great interview. Thank you both. 😊

@JOHNNYwxw yea and cats are 'purrrrrrrverts' too😜which is cool with me. Doggy personalities are the best though for real!!
I love Isaac’s voice. It feels soothing and kind to me.

This is a beautiful human being. I've had 3 relatives struggling with this. I appreciate this upload and the honesty. ❤️
I hope you and your relatives are doing well, it seems like a big struggle. God bless you guys and wish you all the best ❤️
I find his tics very elegant and comforting actually

I don't know why but this guy gives me a huge feeling he could be a brilliant writer.
Such a nice person, hope you will find accepting and supportive person!
I also have Tourettes and schizophrenia. I didn’t know there was another one out here.
What a gentle spirit he seems to have.
What am amazing person you are Isaac. Love from Dublin-Ireland 🍀☘
I love when he says "I can function, but it just takes me a little more time than other people."
Thank you for sharing and being open. There is a lot to understand about this condition
*So self-aware. Amazing person.*
“Because I’m annoying” bro so is everyone else lol wish I coulda been ur friend in school we could’ve vibed. I’m so sorry you didn’t have people willing to see you for who you are
What a wonderful individual ❤️
when he listed the reasons as to why he’s an outsider, I just wanted to hug him but then he said he’s proud so I decided to clap.
When he refers to it as a rabbit hole. It makes a lot of sense. Its like when you entertain your hallucinations or paranoia and you get lost in them
Isaac is way more intelligent and nice person then i meet every day in the city, all the best !
I appreciate so much that you as the interviewer… you seem to understand very well when to be serious and when to be fun and smiley like with younger interviewees thank you for your hard work!
