Producer Amy Pascal seemingly walks back on her comments about the development of a new Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland in the MCU.
Film producer Amy Pascal clarifies her announcement for Spider-Man 4, 5, and 6 with Tom Holland. At the end of November 2021, while doing press for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Pascal surprised everybody when she announced that Sony is continuing their partnership with Marvel Studios for the wall-crawler beyond the upcoming threequel. This excited a lot of fans, but now, she may be walking back on her revelation.
Sony was in its second iteration of the friendly neighborhood hero played by Andrew Garfield when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 surprisingly became a disappointment. Instead of moving forward with their plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Kevin Feige was able to convince Sony to share Spider-Man with Marvel Studios in 2015, which led to their historic partnership. Soon, Holland was cast in the role, and by 2016, he joined the MCU through Captain America: Civil War. Since then, he has played the role four more times - two of which were in his solo adventures: Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Spider man new home, spider man new home trailer, spider man new home official trailer. His other two outings were in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. While talking to Variety during the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Pascal gave an uncommitted answer when asked to talk about the supposed plans for a new Spider-Man trilogy in the MCU. Instead of excitedly teasing narrative possibilities, she was coyer, saying that if it was up to her, Sony and Marvel Studios' partnership will move forward. Pascal's original announcement that a new Spider-Man trilogy was in the works assured fans that the wall-crawler will continue his journey in the MCU. There's a chance that she might have been so excited about the prospect of Spider-Man 4, 5, and 6 that she prematurely talked about it, and n0w, she is trying to keep people's expectations in check.

This was probably one of the best fan made spider man trailers and trailers in general I've ever seen. My heart was racing at certain points and the transitions and scenes went so well with the intense background music. Excellent job. 🙌

Since No way home's ending, Spider-Man will probably no longer hold back, so perhaps the Symbiote he'll obtain will enhance that, like in Spider-Man 3, but in a proper way.
The symbiote would be interesting if Peter wasn't erased. Would have been awesome to see how the symbiote would effect his relationship with his friends and how Spider-Man would be effected. However correct me if I'm wrong but I think Venom and the symbiote are entirely owned by Sony. So Disney will have to get their approval first.

@@drlukas4242 Well, the new Spider-Man movies were created with Sony's approval to begin with. Since they've been wildly successful in Marvel's hands, I don't think it will be too big a stretch for them to incorporate Venom in the next one, whenever it happens. It's a prime time to introduce symbiotes to the MCU with Peter being alone and isolated, probably struggling with depression etc. He's a ripe target for that piece of Venom that still probably knows about him. Maybe Peter in this next movie will befriend his universe's Eddie Brock, he ends up accidentally screwing him over while in costume, and in the end the symbiote gets bonded to him. It would be a nice way to change things up while still adhering mostly to the comics canon.

Well they did show Eddie during the after credits in No Way home, and his desire to meet Spider-Man, so putting him in the new one, if it is indeed gonna happen, would be awesome. Venom definitely needs more love

This is one of the Coolest Concept Trailers I have ever seen.
I want this to exist right now.
Even if it's not how this makes it look, I definitely feel like the piece of Venom that was left behind will play a pretty major role in the next Spiderman movie, whether it be the villain yet again or something that can help Peter save his own life for once by somehow using his parasitic properties to make MJ and Ned remember him

This was an amazing trailer. Just like spider man 3 isn't it. Except in this Peter does not have anyone to be a jerk to when the symbiote possesses him like in spider man 3. He can be aggressive to the villains though and show them his rage and anger like venom. Just saying. Good trailer.

I liked the trailer, what moved me the most about this trailer was the appearance of Venom in the UCM, the black suit that Tom Holland would bring and the name of the logo of the next Spiderman movie (Spiderman: New Home) some of these scenes that were used for the trailer are Euphoria (Zendaya), Venom (Tom Hardy) and Spiderman: No Way Home (Tom Holland)

Peter doesn’t have the tech suits because when doctor strange erased everyone’s memory and the program that allowed peter
To get in but now the program does not recognize him so it does not let him control the suits.

Ok what I believe is gonna happen is that venom and Peter are gonna end up meeting, but I don’t think it’s to hurt him I think he’s going to use him for something Idk. Peter will most likely be trying to his best to have Mj and Ned remember him and at some point they will because of how close they were with each other. Mainly I believe it’s gonna be a movie with Peter, hulk, Thor and Venom all together with other factors we don’t know about just yet.
