I have extremely thin fine hair. Always have. It’s worse in my post menopause years. I’m now 60 years old and too scared to spend the money on a wig. It’s so expensive and I wouldn’t know where to begin. Especially if I splurged and it didn’t fit my small head correctly. In saying that, I will still really enjoy your channel and your wig reviews. There are a couple others that I admire as well. I should’ve started 20 years ago, but as a mother of 5 that was never in the budget. Kudos to all of you brave and beautiful young ladies!
Wigs are certainly a blessing, and once you reach your comfort zone, you'll be thankful you did. Be sure to measure your head to find out if you're in the petite, petite average, or in the average range. Ellen Willie, Noriko, and I believe Amore makes wigs in the petite and petite average range. Also, many manufacturers makes hand tide cap versions that are on the petite average side. Do your research on reputable vendors if buying online. Yes, wigs can be expensive, but there are a variety of cap features that can work with your budget. I really do hope you give wigs a try because YOU deserve it! ❤
I completely understand. When my kids were little there would have been no way.... I also understand the hesitation. The stakes seem so high! I recommend buying from a company that has a good return policy. I would also utilize customer service and get all your questions answered. Please feel free to email me if you need any recommendations, my email address is heywigsister@gmail.com .... also, I am happy to hop on a phone or video call with you and see if I can help in any way. Please know you are not alone. Hugs!!
🫣 LOVE the look of the original BUT the hand-tied, elite Lux caps always feel better to me. Is there a way, hot comb🤔 to lessen the roundness on the Elite? OR does it actually have more fibers? I love your reviews! 🥰
Thanks Denise , I’m new to the wig world and soaking up all the info I can before purchasing . Been losing my hair for quite a while and feel it’s time after trying other things !
You've got this! Praying that you will eventually get to the place where your hair loss doesn't bother you anymore because wigs are so fun! I know you will!
The Elite looks beautiful on you!! The Shaded Iced Sweet Cream is stunning😍 I think the hand tied caps are more beneficial to those who have little to no bio hair. But even with some bio hair I find them to be much more comfortable to wear. Great review❤
Hi! Yes, but a really long time ago.... It was getting expensive to keep buying them in order to review them, and Paula Young doesn't really work with reviewers so I just stopped. Are there any styles you are curious about in particular? I could see what I could do to get one to review....
@@heywigsister not really, just wondering if they were good quality wigs. I’ve been disappointed with the cheaper wigs, but I hate to spend $300 and not like it. And I’m a terrible person about returning things.
@@roseeckstein6534 I would say they are pretty good quality and there are many that LOVE them. It does seem that they are a bit hit or miss, though, and the consistency may not always be great, but so many women tell me that they love them. They tend to have a fair amount of permatease and often don't have all the cap features of the more expensive wigs, but I've had a few and really liked them (Paula Young Becky was a favorite of mine for a long time). There is a Facebook group dedicated to Paula Young wigs (not run by Paula Young) and whenever I did post a review of one those videos did the best of almost any other, so people really want to know more about these.
@@heywigsisterhi Denise, if you could get your hands on a PY Sheer Mystic for review that would be great. They claim it’s 100% handtied but there are wefts in the back. Other than that, it’s a style that’s of great interest to me. There is only 1 review of it on YT. Thanks so much for all you do 💕💕💕

Thank you, Denise, for showing both cap features off! Wow! Love them both on you, and that platinum color looks great on you! ❤
You are so welcome! Thank you so much my friend!
This is a GREAT video! The level of detail answers all of the questions I have about this style! Thank you so very much for your passion. ❤
Your reviews are so helpful and educational. I’m so glad I found you!

I really love the elite on you. The color is stunning. I also prefer the thickness of the hair.
Thank you!! I totally agree!
Another great review. I swear Denise you look good in any color.
Thank you! I sure have fun with it!
Denise, how hot can you go with the HF fibers? I have a hot comb that goes to 500 but that seems insane to me.
Thank you for this thorough comparison
Which one would you recommend for an average to large headsize?

Thanks, Nancy! Hugs!!
Both are beautiful on you😙❤️❤️
Thank you so much 😀
Denise, love your wigs--you look lovely. Can you please tell me where you got your top? Very cute!
Sure!! I have this one in 4 colors now and love it so much! I feel they run true to size and are not terribly fitted: amzn.to/3W8CJ2G
@@heywigsister Thanks Denise--do they wash well & not shrink? I ask because they say 60% rayon. They are sure pretty.
I think it would be more helpful to show it in an unrooted color since the roots hide the permatese on the non-elite caps
Have you ever reviewed Paula Young wigs?
