I made this recipe with red & gold potatoes and olive oil. In addition to salt, pepper and garlic powder I added onion powder and dried oregano. I don't like ketchup so I ate mine with sour cream. Absolutely delicious!
I just made these right now and they’re absolutely delicious!! I had no idea the secret was to leave the salt out until the end - it made the potatoes so crispy and fluffy! Thank you for the recipe Dani!! 😊
I can’t believe I never knew that I shouldn’t add salt until the end. I’ve been doing it wrong for years! This is exactly why I love your videos. Thanks for sharing your secrets. I’m a much better cook thanks to you. I will need to try these this weekend.
I boiled mine for 10 minutes then toss them in olive oil and roasted them for an hour and they turned out super crispy!!! Even after 2 hours they were crispy 😀
These look so much better than French fries. Love the addition of adding the garlic cloves in their skin, as I imagine it prevents the garlic from burning. I'm definitely going to be roasting some potatoes this weekend.
OMG!! Thank you so much for posting this recipe. I just made a batch and it turned out so DELICIOUS!! Best I have ever had! I actually used russet potatoes with a mix of olive oil and sunflower oil. I also added purple onion, parsley and cilantro to the potatoes before baking, then waited until I pulled them out of the oven before salting. SO YUMMY!!!
I’m sorry for chiming in twice, but, wow I’m going to introduce my son to your recipe tonight. If anyone is deciding on which video/ recipe to try, I’ve done several and this one takes the podium👍🏼😀
I just followed this recipe to roast potatoes for the first time and these potatoes are ADDICTIVE! Thank you so much for sharing this yummy recipe, Dani!
That the way I make mine. Although I LOVE chopped fresh rosemary, garlic powder, fresh cracked pepper and a little cayenne. As soon as they come out of the oven I use pink Himalayan salt
These are great! I pulled fresh Rosemary from the garden. Kids loved them, too! Usually if it isn’t a French Fry, they aren’t very interested in potatoes.
Thank you so much for your great video! I've learned so much from different ones on making roasted potatoes! I appreciate your suggestions on how to make great roasted potatoes!
This recipe worked wonderfully, thank you!!! It’s great to have an easy way to cook up a bunch of potatoes-I had so many I needed to use up! They turned out delicious!!! This will be a staple for sure ☺️
I followed your instructions except the type of greens i used due to what we had available. They came out perfect. My wife and i loved them. We cooked some seasoned chicken breasts and made a side salad too. Thank you. 🤓❤️
I followed your recipe; enjoyed the most delicious, crispy roasted potatoes! 🥔 Adding the sea salt after roasting made all the difference! Thanks for another great recipe, Dani. ☺️Cheers! 🥂 R🍀
It looks yummy. And simple. I bought potatoes seasoning, but I like your recipe better, less expensive than the McCormick seasoning. Thank you, I needed this. 🥰 I just subscribed to your channel.
Instead of flipping them half way through (I'm too lazy, lol), I spread parchment paper on the grill that comes with the toaster oven instead of using a baking sheet and use the 'toast' setting, so both the top and bottom heat elements are on simultaneously. That way they bake much faster (usually 2/3 of the time compared to using the 'bake' setting) and you don't need to flip them!
Absolutely enjoyable video,,,im trying THIS one now cause many videos say boil first. Ima try this one first. And its not lije i dont riast taters alot, i just want them better better best...i did enjoy and benefit from this vid, thank you for sharinv Miss Danni

Different strokes for different folks. I'll always add salt before baking, as I'll always add water, salt and pepper to eggs before scrambling.

Me either, you aren’t alone.
i know like oh my gosh!
i never wash my potatoes. what’s the point? the germs will cook off

What temperature you roast them at?
@@ricomiddlebrookliveslife 450
They don't burn at 450? I'm trying this right now! @@bettychristidis3230

I made them and they turned out perfectly - just like yours!
Anyone else cut corners and toss the potatoes and seasonings on the roasting pan, instead of using a bowl? I have to admit that I do.
More like cutting down on dishes
Yum! 😋
I was waiting for the bloopers at the end.
I can't wait to make these, I have done them several times WITH salt, I will now make the change and salt before serving
Yukon Gold’s are my absolute favorite !!!
I just made these for dinner with olive oil - just as tasty!
This recipe worked wonderfully, thank you!!! It’s great to have an easy way to cook up a bunch of potatoes-I had so many I needed to use up! They turned out delicious!!! This will be a staple for sure ☺️

I will be making these on Sunday and freeze for breakfasts. And if have any left over I can make a lazy last minute potato egg salad for lunch.
They look amazing! And I bet they taste great.
I ALWAYS LEFT MY SALT OUT UNTIL THE END. LEARNED THAT FROM FOOD NETWORK. CAME OUT GREAT ALL THE TIME

Thanks for the tip. I’ve made this recipe many times and it works every time 😋🤤
Yummo! Was a hit with the fam. It’s now my go-to recipe for roasting spuds.
Instead of flipping them half way through (I'm too lazy, lol), I spread parchment paper on the grill that comes with the toaster oven instead of using a baking sheet and use the 'toast' setting, so both the top and bottom heat elements are on simultaneously. The parchment paper gives potatoes and any roasted veggie a nice sear on the bottom! Highly recommended! 👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you I just tried this for morning breakfast 🍳 the kiddos loved them !! Big hit
This would be so good with a pork roast and green beans! OMG
I always make roasted potatoes and I always added salt. Although they did get crispy I am excited to try it without adding the salt love your recipes!
