I think he goes to AEW, not for the money either. The lighter schedule is the biggest selling point, the second is working with the Bucks again and, hopefully, Omega. Kevin will want to get into fights with Osprey or even Okada. Okada vs KO would be a great match. So I'm all for AEW, but he might stay in WWE just because it's probably his last contract of his career, and then he's put into the WWE Hall of Fame plus a backstage role, it makes a lot of sense.
As a KO fan I would like to see him re-sign with the WWE. This video lists very good reasons as to why. I do feel he should get (and deserves) another main title run & his current storyline with Cody Rhodes has people invested. On the 9/20 Smackdown there were boos when he didn’t hit Cody with the chair. Because people want to see a heel KO vs Cody. Also like you mentioned he has lots of options with the WWE once his in ring days are over. I would love to see him in a commentary role. We’ll see what he ends up deciding but my hope is he stays where he is
