I’ll say the most unpredictable outcomes this year was priest’a title reign & him actually winning against big names for 4 months (which I enjoyed) & sami beating Gunther(which shouldn’t of happened btw). With Vince, yeah it was predictable at times but their were more unpredictable outcomes especially title changes that we didn’t see coming but Vince did to swerve us ( which was sometimes good but a lot of times WERE BAD). 3 obvious reasons why Austin Theory's career is struggling... 1. HHH doesn't like him because he was pushed by Vince. 2. He doesn't like the fact that his former teammates like Randy Orton are even praising him. 3. It is to get back at Vince for ruining NXT when HHH was running it... It has nothing to do with Theory himself. His matches are badly produced. His propos are written and he's forced to go out there and get humiliated on worldwide television...
IDK. You said it best; this is subjective. Personally, I don't see a huge improvement now that Triple H is running things. Although I've never had a big problem with the product/shows anyway. I think a lot of the reason they might have better numbers now is because they've rebranded themselves as the Triple H era and people are wanting to see what that means. However, we don't have cable and only watch Smackdown and it seems that other than a couple storylines/wrestlers the rest of the show seems pretty bland. I see stuff on TH-cam from Raw and that looks pretty damn good but I don't know how a full two hour show would be. Let's put it this way. I watched a couple shows of Smackdown from the early 2000's (I guess that's the Ruthless Aggression era) with my 14 year old son recently (who doesn't watch all the discussions on the internet about what's good or bad now vs the old days) and he said "Wow! This is so much better than what they have on now!" Just out of the blue. So I don't really have an answer.
Category 3 and 5 having all the black wrestlers in it is hilarious… for lack of better. Not having anything for Lashley which resulted in him working elsewhere was a huge red flag to me
Triple H said something in 2003. There's a reason why Bianca went from holding the main women's title for over a year to now being hardstuck in the meaningless tag team division. Under the "racist" Vince, Bobby Lashley and Bianca were presented like titans. However, Under the "progressive" Triple K, Bianca is a literal Jobber to no names and Bobby had to beg like a dog for a match. The street profits had their best year under racist Vince. Apollo Crews had an actual gimmick under racist Vince. Naomi was presented as an actual title threat under racist Vince. JINDER MAHAL was the MAIN World champion UNDER RACIST VINCE. The bloodline that you kids speak so fondly of PEAKED UNDER RACIST VINCE MCMAHON. Fact of the matter is very few of you have your OWN actual opinions. Vince was the better booker. I think people forget how great 2020 was for a few months under both Heyman and Bischoff as creative leads. I’ve got faith in Triple H, but trying to book all of these shows and moments and matches can only last for so long. When the Bloodline story ends and Heyman officially retires from appearing on screen, he needs to return to booking either Raw or SmackDown while Hunter books the other. There were so many stars being built up under Heyman and Bischoff in 2020, yet now under Hunter, it’s the same group every week because it’s just far too difficult to build new talent while sticking to the storylines you’ve already worked out across TWO different multi-hour long shows.
The way you broke it down I don’t think the push or lack of push of certain stars is at all personal for triple H, strictly business, popularity, and ratings based
Its not speculative at all. He definately has his guys as all bookers do. Remember its a tv show not a true sport, so while everyone has a chance to expand their role, it depends on how they are written.
I don't think he has certain guys. I think he just chooses the people that's getting the biggest reactions. People were saying for years how ricochet is a triple h guy, and look where he is now.
Here's a tier list of Triple H Guys from the NXT Black & Gold Era based on how good I think Triple H has booked them on the main roster so far. Anyone I didn't mention is automatically in D or F tier. Also there are some people mentioned in this video I do not consider Triple H guys like New Day, Awesome Truth, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Maxine Dupri, Rey Mysterio, and Liv Morgan either because they weren't in NXT or not big in NXT. S Tier: Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, Walter/Gunther A Tier: Bayley, Becky Lynch, Johnny Gargano, Nia Jax B Tier: Finn Bálor, Damian Priest Raquel Gonzalez C Tier: Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Tomasso Ciampa, Iyo Sky D Tier: Asuka, Bronson Reed, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Street Profits, Dexter Lumis F Tier: AOP, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, Karrion Kross, Shinsuke Nakamura, Nikki Cross, Cedric Alexander, Ashante, B-Fab If Adam Cole, FTR/The Revival, Grizzled Young Veterans, Jon Moxley, and Samoa Joe were still in WWE Adam Cole would most likely be in A Tier, FTR & GYV would be in D Tier or F Tier, Jon Moxley would be in A or B Tier, and Samoa Joe would be in C Tier. Also Raquel Gonzalez/Rodríguez would be in B or C Tier right now if she were healthy because I can see her in the women's title picture on Raw but not doing anything else.
I am against his booking and patterns. In both Vince and Triple H eras. Mid-card superstars were booked worse. At least in the Vince Era, they might get a chance to win a title
I feel like their favs aren't getting tv time, and the main guys are which is the issue I can understand why people feel a certain way. I was upset that Bobby left because of the booking decisions because under vince he was booked well, but it was getting repetitive. We see him compete against other big men who has the best power who can do this and that. While that can be great in retrospect it also hinders the wrestler from getting out of that one dimensional space. Would I like to see my favs get more screen time sure, but I know it takes time, and sometimes I have to admit my favs aren't that great on the mic, and really can be boring at times. Whilst not the biggest HHH supporter (His backstage politicking holding down talent was a big factor though now he's doing great with NXT) the only time I enjoyed his matches was when he had to adapt to other wrestlers' styles proving he at least put some effort as apart of laxingly fighting the same names with similar moves over and over: Taka Michinoku, Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, Tajiri, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, etc. People like Steve Austin, Rock, Undertaker, Kane, etc were too similar and set in their moves that nearly all of them where like simply going through the motions as their matches were long matches with the basics of Pro Wrestling and only a sprinkle of specialty moves... and his Kozlov match didn't help things either.

@@jimcrack3776 Yeah, because let's just ignore that we're in a completely different era of TV ratings and it's still the dominant product in its genre. Clod.
I believe that WWE has improved since Triple H took over, but there are still a couple of areas where it falls short. First, some of the storylines seem nonsensical, like the Dom/Liv storyline. In today's world where wrestlers' personal lives are well-known, portraying romantic storylines involving them can come across as awkward. Additionally, WWE's action in the ring seems lacking compared to promotions like AEW, which consistently delivers high-quality wrestling action in their PPVs. WWE needs to work on improving its in-ring action, especially with the potential arrival of talented wrestlers like Penta and Rey, who are known for their incredible moves. It's crucial for WWE to handle these talents properly and not stifle their abilities, as seen with the example of Osprey, who might not fit into WWE's style of wrestling due to his focus on action and athleticism, something which WWE struggles to replicate from promotions like NJPW.
So WWE is breaking Jade Cargill down and building her back up being teaming with Bianca Belair to elevate her?! So she's basically a developmental project in WWE?! In AEW, she immediately was presented as a bonifide star. Her first match was a mixed tag team match with Shaq when they took on Cody and Brandi, she was the very first ever TBS champion, she was undefeated for more than a year with 60 plus wins, she had her own group (the baddies), and her personal lawyer (Mark Sterling) and she's one of the only ones in AEW to get a great sendoff after her last match against Kris Statlander when they hugged and raised each other's hands out of respect on Rampage. I'll admit than I'm bias as a hardcore AEW fan & wish Jade was back in AEW & hope WWE would take care of her & treat her like the star she truly is, but they keep putting her in tag team matches and play 2nd fiddle to Bianca Belair. They act like she's never wrestled before and doesn't have training when she's been trained by one of the greatest pros ever in Bryan Danielson and has been a champion before plus she's a gifted natural athlete. IDK what WWE is doing with her, but I hope they start putting her in some singles matches and star showcasing her like a singles star like AEW did.
It’s obvious to see when he has his focus & effort put into something, I think Bronson reed is the epitome of this A guy that was just there & then all of a sudden he’s must see tv within the last month Bobby lashley & the street profits are the opposite of this, letting Bobby go in the midst of trying to present the SP differently The SP have peaked & should split the tag division seems to be a place where talent goes to hibernate (Belair, Jade, Iyo, Theory, Waller, Chelsea green) If Tyler bate never got hurt Pete dunne would still be in a tag team running in place not getting this current push He's a good booker when effort is put forth
I think you guys are overlooking the fact that HHH appears to be trying to run this like a TV show, so having a bunch of characters appear to then just disappear doesn't make sense. Smackdown even has the whole Executive Producer thing now. Those people like Theory or Waller will get their chance once their storylines starts heating up more. Could there be more of a balance? Sure. That said, you can see this is working more so in cycles than anything else.

The problem with Triple H is that for the most part every match outcome is predictable but it’s been that way even since Vince.
It seems hhh just gives that fans what they want, but sometimes we need a swerve & I feel like we haven’t been getting many swerves under hhh
@@Papellxhase missed opportunity for a swerve recently was the womens battle Royal for the world title. They should’ve given that lil reign to either Nia or one of the lower card girls like Piper or Chelsea. I agree Sami shouldn’t have beaten Gunther and Gunther should not have beat Priest. @@Papellxhase We haven't gotten may swerves because fans are a fickle they would have complained about those anyways

Liv Morgan is definitely not a Triple H girl
Her Booking has been abysmal under Triple H and her entire storyline this year has just been a way to further promote Rhea and Dominik
You either a;
Vince McMohan Guy
Paul Lavesque Guy
Paul Heyman Guy
Not having anything for Lashley which resulted in him working elsewhere was a huge red flag to me
Honestly Bianca should be the face of the woman’s division not Rhea Bianca deserves better

The way you broke it down I don’t think the push or lack of push of certain stars is at all personal for triple H, strictly business, popularity, and ratings based
Nope its people and his hand picked favorite nobody wants to see
Its not speculative at all. He definately has his guys as all bookers do. Remember its a tv show not a true sport, so while everyone has a chance to expand their role, it depends on how they are written.
Which the superstars obviously have no say in which is not fair...
I don't think he has certain guys. I think he just chooses the people that's getting the biggest reactions. People were saying for years how ricochet is a triple h guy, and look where he is now.
That’s exactly what it is!!
S Tier: Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, Walter/Gunther
A Tier: Bayley, Becky Lynch, Johnny Gargano, Nia Jax
B Tier: Finn Bálor, Damian Priest
Raquel Gonzalez
C Tier: Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Tomasso Ciampa, Iyo Sky
D Tier: Asuka, Bronson Reed, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Street Profits, Dexter Lumis
F Tier: AOP, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, Karrion Kross, Shinsuke Nakamura, Nikki Cross, Cedric Alexander, Ashante, B-Fab
If Adam Cole, FTR/The Revival, Grizzled Young Veterans, Jon Moxley, and Samoa Joe were still in WWE Adam Cole would most likely be in A Tier, FTR & GYV would be in D Tier or F Tier, Jon Moxley would be in A or B Tier, and Samoa Joe would be in C Tier. Also Raquel Gonzalez/Rodríguez would be in B or C Tier right now if she were healthy because I can see her in the women's title picture on Raw but not doing anything else.

We see him compete against other big men who has the best power who can do this and that. While that can be great in retrospect it also hinders the wrestler from getting out of that one dimensional space.
