It's weird I was up in the air on this Jeep and even at my local hobby shop they are not selling at all, only one in few months. I like it on 8s for sure...I guess just my area it's not as popular...who knows I may get one.

I put paddles on mine yesterday with a 16t pinion and it loves climbing sand hills with ease😆. I love the scx6

I'm not the oldest subscriber by no means but every since the start of the ryft. I got one at the same time and watching you build yours helped me out to make it manageable. With out the vitavon. I broke the shaft that holds the spur gear and I'm having trouble finding it without buying the whole transmission

real explorers call for 12s and a motor with ventilation fan, for cooling. As a minimum.
You will put the new motor in, I know you will. Get that land speed record!

Just a heads up, that castle system is only rated for models up to 20lbs. It’s more or less a large 1/8th scale setup. There are much better options out there these days.
Man that thing is completely a different animal now. Maybe Axial will have a kit version of this in the future....we can wish right. 🤞 keep the awesome videos coming!

They sure fixed the lack of difference between gears didn't they? Can't wait to get my hands on one. Hopefully it wont take long to get a kit version and maybe a Gladiator. I have a Traction Hobby Founder 2. Do you have one? I'd like to see a size comparison.
When they make an SMT6 I'll think about buying one but this is not my cup of tea.

Really like this SCX6 series and seeing the truck get faster and stronger. Basically on the same path myself. Would you say going this ESC/motor setup is worth it now or waiting on the Murder Hornet is wise?
For now I’d say yeah this has been the perfect combo for me. When the Murder Hornet comes out you can use this esc on it. Or get a monster X and put this in something else.

How do you find the offset 3link in the front? Would think that would make for some interesting times in high torque spots
Question, Do you think torque twist might have had something to do with breaking the skid? To or do u think it was from crashing? I watched the video a couple of times to see it it may have hit something to cause we the break. Didn't see where was possible. Unless it happened off screen. Lol . But cool video 👍

Hey, I'm still running the stock gears and axels. When I pulled the diff apart there was no play at all. Do I still need to shim the diffs? I've got them already, but don't want to put them in if I don't have to.
If there is no play and the gear mesh pattern looks good then run em and have fun. If they do break we have upgrade options now.
Don’t be like the 5th scale gassers ⛽️ and always running their cars without the shell on.
Put the body on when you run it man…
The reason for testing like this is the body is a pita to put in place. Once done with the testing I ran the body on 8s and had a blast

How do you adjust the mesh if you can't see it? Does the 11T pinion just push back all the way and it's good? I have the mount and i just don't like going by feel or sound.

Looking great and performs well. Curious: what is the weight difference now between stock and how its setup right now?
I weighed it in with the batteries and it’s right at 29lbs

I know they say the stock esc can handle 4s but can the stock system handle 4s. Reason I ask is I have 6 4 s packs already and would like to just use them instead of buy more 3s. Thanks and good work.

I was thinking about purchasing this crawler but after seeing a few of your videos I will hold off for now, this addicting Hobbie might cause issues with the ol lady lol. Or... Get the crawler and hold off on upgrades and just enjoy easy cruising when going to the beach.

i just ordered a new scx6 honcho manuael says 3s but motor says capable for 4s, so i got 4s battery's because i also have an axmaxx 8s, do you think its safe to run 4s on stock scx6?

$3-$5k for an rc truck lol nuts. It doesn't even look different than 1/10 scale in the vids because there's no scale to how big those dirt mounds really are. Impressive machine you need someone tooling a 1/10 trx4 around for comparison then we'd truly see the incredible capability of these rigs.
