- Just finished installing a 4th gen (2017) Prius engine in my 2012 Prius V. Just a short video of the motor in maintenance mode. Big thanks to youtuber "Fix that prius" for the in depth videos.
The old motor had a blown gasket and was going through a quart of oil every 5~800 miles due to the pesky oil ring issues common with most 3rd gens.
