Jev there are 3 of those finger ruins in the game and there's a questline involved to find them. You need to go to the manor from the trailer that had the guy in the chair. After that questline you gain access to a remembrance boss.

Hey Jev there’s a catacomb a ways away from Bonny village, going through it takes you to a heavily wooded area, if you go through it eventually you’ll come across a huge abandoned mansion, inside is another remembrance boss. (The area also contains the last map fragment you need)

Romina, Saint of the Bud might genuinely be one of my favorite fights. Aesthetically really stunning, and overall a really fun and fair fight (her remembrance weapon is sick too)
tried to use her poleblade for a ng+ run an ended up having to rush renalla to respec because it was so garbage. They made it have super low base damage to balance the rot buildup IG, but it just makes it terrible to use on most enemies
Yeah. I thought that her scarlet rot would make it a really annoying fight but but it was never that big of a deal when fighting her. She’s probably my second favorite boss so far behind Mesmer

Romina is horribly balanced compared to the rest of DLC, she is bluntly way too easy especially when you consider your expected to fight her after Messmer
Shaman village is a surreal place. Hands down one of the most intriguing and beautiful place in any game I’ve ever played.

@brandon-eo5mg thought it was both, u take the coffin in shadow keep then go down through the Catacombs, unless there's a way I don't know about.

Jev the finger places are apart of a questline to get one of the remembrance bosses. To start the quest you gotta go to the glass building next to the storeroom

JEV, savage lion claw is the same stance damage, you just have to LAND all three hits for it to be the same
the initial hit of savage lions claw is less stance damage but if you hit all three hits then it is more than original lions claw

@@GURLALSI like it on the throwing great hammer. Cause then you can also use the disc backhand blades as a secondary. I say this b/c you can proc the rotten sword tailsmen with savage lions claw or the spinning animation while throwing the hammer if you’re close. Then if you need to, you switch to the backhand blades and it’s also beneficial! I also like the ash better if I have status on the weapon
@@GURLALS not really. Savage lions claw does more stance dmg and dmg in general. It just takes 2x as long so in some boss fights you don’t have enough time for the full attack.
I would say overall savage lions claw is outright better in almost every scenario. The only reason to switch to normal lions claw is if you need a quicker attack for some of the bosses extremely small punish window

Which is most fucking bosses where you even care about the difference lol, like what?
If a boss allows you to even get the entire combo off (which is rare and even extremely rare in the DLC), just use 2 lions claw for a little bit more fp. There are bosses where savage lions would be better but it's not gonna be that many. Sure if you wanna go monke mode and just spam left trigger and just not care about about taking damage then go ahead xd
Jev I know you dont do summons but when you go to fight Bayle(top of the mountain) PLEASE summon the NPC its actually hilarious and part of a side quest
It pretty much counts as not using a summon either since he’s so useless and does nothing

I like to summon him one time for the va but it's honesty not ideal for my playstyle to summon as the boss randomly switch target which makes attacks less predictable when you are trying to hit it's head. For dragons like Bayle and Midir, I like to dodge backwards and stay in front of its head so that I can capitalise of the huge openings. But the Bayle fight is peak tho the fight is peak, the va is peak and its on the summit of zagged peak😂

So you need to visit the Cathedral of Manus Metyr it’s the huge building following the wolf Forrest you pass by. Talking with the dude inside gives you an item that lets you blow up the fingers which will give you two talismans. After you get both wait till he’s not at his chair anymore and go through his chair unlocking a secret area.
The finger ruins are for a quest that leads to a remembrance boss. You need to do Ymir’s quest he can be found at Cathedral of Manus Metyr

Idk if Jev saw, but there’s a whole area missing of the map that has a remembrance boss, there’s a dungeon you have to go through in southern Scadualtus that, once the boss is beaten, leads to the area and contains a legacy dungeon with honestly a top 3 boss in the DLC. Hopefully he sees this!
By the way Jev, I found out via twitter that the scadu tree fragments are actually pronounced as shadow tree, scadu is apparently an old english way of the word shadow but it's said the same way

Hey Jev, to get the last 2 rememberance bosses you need to go to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr and do Count Ymir's questline. And you also need to beat the Darklight Catacombs in order to reach the area that you need the map for which also has a rememberance boss

Jev you missed an alternative route through the shadow keep, around near where you first entered. travel through the Shadow Keep until you make it to the boats with the ambush enemies, there's a ledge to the left near the water you can jump down onto.
It's a bit of a long path but it takes you where you need to go.
The finger area in the top right is part of count Ymirs quest. You can interact with the things only after receiving a map correlating to them from Ymir
There are 2 dungeons/catacombs that block off portions of the map. 1 leads to a remembrance boss, 1 leads to multiple bosses (no remembrance) and arguably the best dialogue in the game

Those finger ruins are part of a quest you need to go to the big looking building in the pond to start it and doing it leads to one of the remembrance bosses
Jev by the flaming boats next to the golden hippo grace there’s a ladder then a room with a hidden pathway that leads to the map fragment your missing

Jev, in the Ancient Ruins of Raugh you can access a hidden boss fight against another Divine Dancing Beast, From the Church of Bud, Go down one level and in the right corner there’s old ruins you can scale that lead to an elevator. It’s an amazing fight and I won’t spoil what makes that Dancing Lion different

There is so much content in the lower areas and alot more boss fights. Definitely explore and look into dungeons too, cuz they drop some good gear in hidden areas. Especially go to the mountain at the far right, worth it

The finger ruins are part of a questline that will take you to another rememberance boss you need an item to ring the bells, also if you burn the tree you’ll be locked out of some questlines: st trina’s quest, sir ansbach’s, needle knight leda’s. Those are the only ones i know of so far, keep up the awesome content man
Also some dungeon’s actually lead to the main bosses, or atleast the areas where they are located

The church above bonny village is where you need to go to interact with the fingers, on the last part of the quest reload the area if your confused and interact with the chair, hopefully i didnt spoil anything for you, Much love jev

Jev I would recommend for the next boss to be Bayle. There's a quest you can do for an awesome npc to be called during the fight and his dialouge is amazing! Plus Bayle as a boss himself is really cinematic and stunning. Climb the Jagged Peak and face Vile Bayle.
the finger areas are apart of ymirs quest, you need to meet him at the cathedral of manus metyr, then you have to go back to the center of both of the finger areas and blow into them, then go back to the cathedral and move the throne, which will you give you access to one of the final 3 remembrance bosses.
the finger ruins are apart of a questline from someone in the cathedral, the giant hanging thing you hit was what you need to blow into after starting the quest, after you get both ruins a secret boss will be opened up under the guy’s throne
the quest is Ymir’s, the order of the ruins are bottom middle, top right and then under the throne

Dark light catacombs leads you to that area you haven’t found the map for
Here is a list of stuff you might want to get/fight before going to the final area
- Ancient Meteoric Greatsword (It's ash of war is a very long tracking thrust with a follow up explosion)
- Find Ymir to start the finger bell quest
- The way to the area you are finding without a map can be found in the shadow keep
- Go back to the dungeon where the dragon hunter katana is located, it'll bring you to the jagged peak filled with dragons and arguably the best dragon boss ever in gaming
- Also do the St.Trina and Ansbach questline ( It'll provide you with massive answers before you get to the final boss otherwise you'll be so confused)
Jev there’s a secret pathway through the shadow keep and it will lead you out into the middle water area next to the castle out of the drains, which leads you to another area with a remembrance boss
Seeing Jev first try a boss that I was stuck on for hours truly humbles me. I can’t wait for him to find Bayle and the final boss
Jev in shadow keep near the beginning right after the hippo where the four boats are going down through a ladder than a secret room will lead you down to a river following the river downstream eventually leads to catacombs which leads to the abyssal woods which after that leads to a manor with a remembrance boss
For those finger areas you need to accept the quest given by the dude in the church surrounded by water. he will give you a item that lets you interact with those pillar things in the middle of the finger area. Also near the end of this quest line is a rememberance boss. Hope this helps
Hey Jev, there's 1 remembrance boss in the area that you don't have the map discovered, 1 is after you do a questline in the building surrounded by water below the shaman village on the map and the last one is the final boss. Hope you find them all and good luck!!!

I suggest you run through Abyssal Forest as that area is quite brutal and quite mortifying. But it probably has the coolest boss in the game and a Soundtrack to go with it!
The Abyss region can be found east of the Gravesite Plain, south to the Scadu Altus, and can be accessed through the Darklight Catacombs by the end of the Recluses' River.

To interact with the finger ruins, you need to speak with the guy (Ymir i think) who’s at the castle surrounded by water in the map, south east of the castle where you fought Messmer. Keep up the vids, loving the series!
Loved riding into the Shaman Village and hearing the Elden beast music with the scenery. Such a cool moment in the game
Jev the finger ruins of dheo is part of a questline you can do, This questline will also take you to a remembrance boss. Doing the questline is fun you should do it

Hey jev love the vids, the weird "bell thing" is for a quest and the quest has a Remembrance boss , to start the quest go to Cathedral of Manus Metyr, its the big building on water near Bonny village, talk to the npc inside in a chair thats how you start the quest theres another npc in the building as well, the first step you'll go down to the finger ruins (on the right side of the map) blow the whistle (bell thing) then go back and talk to the npc you'll then have to go back to the finger ruins you found in this video, then go back and talk to the npc again you'll get a 3rd and last map, then just rest at the grace next to the npc , then you should be able to interact with the chair to get to a Remembrance boss ( Sorry if the explanation is bad I'm not to great at explaining things) one last thing after the boss fight go to the chair again and youll get invaded by the other npc there after beating her rest at the grace and shell be where you found her first, you'll have 2 choices you can use a " Iris of Grace" to get her ashes or use "Iris of Occultation" to get a weapon, you might wanna look something up about it to help you out

the inverted T blue building near the ruins you just visited. thats the start.
theres a ladder at the main shadow castle the door to the right where the hippotomautus was. where the boats had the holy magic coming out of on the right side. thats gets you to the abyss woods.

you have to go to count metyr, the building on the pond south of rabbaths rise, that's how you figure out the finger ruins stuff, its a short questline, the end of the questline is a remembrance boss
In that Building you looked across at earlier is where the second divine dragon in. Take the elevator up at the top of the stairs at ruah west grace and then turn left and off the cliff are columns that take you to another lift and higher area

The visuals in this game are crazy as hell. I don’t play Elden Ring, but I will say Jev’s play throughs are entertaining.
Another rememberance boss apart from the finger ruin quest would be on the east side of the map on the jagged peak I highly recommend you can get there via dragons pit and you also get a good weapon from going through the pit good luck!
The finger ruins are for the big Church questline to the right of Shadow Keep ! It leads to a remembrance boss when you finish it so id suggest going to that area and completing that questline for the next remembrance boss

Jev you should head towards the big church like building on the hill on the right of Messmer’s palace. That should help you out a little with your next remembrance.

Hey jev, you should do a play through doing all the npc quest lines, I did it and I found so much stuff I’ve never seen in the game before, everyone would enjoy it
you should go to the abyssal woods next, its a super fun and cool area and you access it simply by going through some catacombs east of bonny village, there is also a super cool boss there to fight in the woods
The catacombs/dungeons can lead to some cool stuff for sure. There's a rememberance boss and a entire huge area locked behind one of them in the map area you don't have unlocked yet.

go to the dragon pit on the bottom right side of the map, and also theres a ladder on a bridge that takes u down to the water. you gotta go down that and hit the illusory wall to progress into a different secret area
Jev when you get to the final boss of the game he does holy damage which may not seem like it but he does so the golden braid will be really helpful
Jev there is a area down in the sewers of the shadow keep that has a invisible wall leading to a coffin which brings you down where you then have to follow down a canyon and find a catacomb that brings you to the abyss which brings you to another remembrance boss there is also a side quest to a remembrance boss at the big cathedral

Jev, you need to find the huge church on the map and go there to do a questline. That's what the finger things are for, and there is a remembrance boss at the end of the quest, but dont burn the thorns yet because you won't be able to do certain questlines.
I recommend the leden hardtear over the op alone bubble tear cause of the increase in stance damage being real helpful and the bubble tear only reduces damage of one hit which isn’t bad but has a lot of faults to it
1:Go to the mountains in the bottom right.
2: find the church in the middle right part of the map and do the quest.
Do try to defeat the furnace giants. They drop the new dlc physic tears. For the ones that have armor, drop a furnace pot (recipe required) into their head.

you need to do the darklight catacombs and then continue along the path it unlocks, you would LOVE it.
you get to that area through a coffin hidden in the shadow keep behind a waterfall.
