Studio One already has that feature if I'm not mistaken. Not just for splice, but for all of your samples. And you can audition them before you drag and drop.
I tried it. Keep this in mind. You must own the samples you have in your stack. If you don’t own the sounds it will count against your credits. Example you used 5 unowned sounds. That’s 5 credits. I started with 500 and I exported 4 stacks. I’m now down to 488. The sound quality is good. F-it, use all the tools to get musically inspired quickly. From manual to Ai who cares as long as the music sounds dope. BTW when you export to Studio one. The sounds are routed to a Stack Bus which is cool. You will need to re-level your sounds so they are not clipping in the red. ✌🏾
Only for new subscribers, just like Adobe's subscription drives. I see this as another reason to steer clear of subscription software. If Studio One ever becomes subscription only then I would immediately change to another DAW or never update. What I pay for I want to own.
Same here. I prefer paying the upgrade than a sub. I do like subs if I don't have the cash to pay in full, love subs for that, but I pay full price as soon a possible once I know I'm gonna keep it. I was up to almost 12 subs at one point, it was getting out of hand, now Im down to one. Switched from PT to S1 and never going back, so it's nice to own it.
Hmm maybe soon can S1 incorporate Studio Cloud? Where we can get samples within studio one or something that would be killer! Also improve the chord track!
@@presonus Oh yes! It just now gets easier, instead of dragging every single sample to make them match. It was a little bit of work, to change tempo, delete sample, reinsert… Now it will be faster for me. “ Studio One 4rever”.
When using Splice, in the browser or app, you can use the Up & Down arrow keys to navigate between samples. Use Left arrow key to have it play from the beginning. Use Right arrow key to skip ahead in the loop.
Can't you make Studio One to match the scale of the project when we audition audioloops in sync with our project. It matches bpm but not the scale. Cubase can do that.

Hi Nicolas, if you have a Splice subscription and Studio One, you'll be able to use these workflows shown in the video. Studio One+ / Studio One Professional is not a requirement. However, if you aren't a Studio One+ Member yet, then you can get Splice Create Free for 3 months when you sign up for Studio One+ between 11/1/2023 and 12/31/2023! -GBY
The only issue with these 'royalty free' sample providers is the writs still fly if the track they are used in is a commercial chart success. If hundreds of artists have purchased the same sample library and one of them has a monster hit using its contents: who owns the original audio material?
That gets into copyright law, chord progressions are not subject to copyright law and most likely loops available to everyone wouldn't be covered either, though that could be tested in court. Copyright usually covers defining features of a song, lyrics, vocal melody etc.

Hi Hector, there's no need to feel this way! :) As I said, Splice Create Mode is really just throwing an idea at you to get you inspired. Once you've imported this idea into Studio One, you can take it in any direction you want & make it truly your own! This is much like having a band member in the studio who comes up with a suggestion for a new song. It's really not cheating. :) -GBY
Always done in the name of "Saving Time" & "Inspiration". For me? It's kinda like sacrificing your Freedom & Liberty, for "Security". I mean, what IS the eventual "end" for all this? What else- Just let AI make it all! That's THE greatest "time-saver", of all. And it's like, you know, TOTALLY "democratic"? Because EVERYONE can now make professional music, derived & just "slightly altered", by people who actually took all the time, effort, and their own talent, to create the foundation, of what a person with no musical talent just "created", using AI! How wonderful. And they did it all, in under 5 minutes! Weeee! No doubt I'll be in the extreme minority here- but I'll stick w/myself, my guitar/keyboard & other instruments, and try to create from the heart & soul- and not just by what might make people shake their collective asses. No doubt I'll stay poor- but at least it will be 100%, myself. And that's ok with me. Just one man's opinion.

My expression " if everyone has gold, Gold worth 0$" and with AI coming, that make me want to learn and to spend more time on learn " bass electric and soon guitar " , right now im learning modular VCV rack. I want be prood of me, not to use a " prompt " , if someone dont have inspiration, " go out, go to the beach, get a GF, leave your gf" Michael jackson for inspiration, was sitdown on tree

Please integrate a browsing function of splice samples within the Studio One browser where you can drag and drop samples directly into the daw.

After all of these years of using Studion One I have now decided to watch this video.
Can't you make Studio One to match the scale of the project when we audition audioloops in sync with our project. It matches bpm but not the scale. Cubase can do that.
