    l used to work in the Lanes so seeing it as it was in those far away days of the 70's brings back a lot of happy memories when Brighton was at it's best , a vibrant and exciting Town ( as it was called then .) Sadly those days are long gone , the Brighton of 2024 a dirty , neglected and run down city( as it's called now) l avoid going into as much as possible .
