The old TVS logo instantly transported me back to my youth!and so good to see Brighton when it was still a seedy, rundown seaside resort full of punks and squatters, before all the beautiful people showed up and sent prices through the roof, thanks for posting this little curio.

I met Dora about 10 years ago, we went to her house to pick up some furniture. She was full of energy then and danced for us.

I often served Dora in a health food shop in Kemp Town, Brighton, during 1984.

My friends had a couple of flats once they converted Dora Bryant's hotel Claridges into flats. One included the swimming pool in the basements, one had a pool on the roof.

Reminds me of watching really out dated documentaries back in school

I met Dora a few years ago. Charming, friendly, with no airs and graces. Typical northern lass!

Don't remember club Savannah, though I would only 11 at the time of this video. Googling it shows it was in the old steine, anyone any ideas what it is now?

Savannah was a great soul and funk club. Went there in early 90's. Had two floors and fab DJ's.

Liked this, but wasn't expecting nooodity ! - How did you manage to upload a 25minute clip? Are you a 'paid up' youtube person ?

I think that Dougie Byng must have been a real sweetie. He could 'out duchess' the real thing in his gorgeous stage outfits.
