- #gaming #mouse #review Been using my G-Wolves HSK Pro 4k copy since it shipped in late December of 2022, and it's Pretty Goodᵀᴹ. Just be aware that G-Wolves doesn't have a great track record when it comes to customer support.

I’ve used this mouse for a year now and it’s honestly great. I got used to using the side mouse buttons but I see better stability when I don’t use them. The lightweight of this mouse is extremely noticeable when snapping onto targets. Would recommend, just not for people who need the side mouse buttons for major tasks

Ive also had this for over a year. I didn't use the side buttons at first, but now I use both effectively. Took awhile for my hand to be comfy with the buttons, especially 2 of them with separate actions. Used to just use them both as one button. The scroll wheel is nice for me too, cause I play neon in val and lucio in overwatch, and scroll wheel down for jump is very useful. Neither of these things are as high quality as what's in my Lamzu Atlantis, but I still prefer this mouse for the freedom in my wrist.
Also never tried this rawaccell DPI shift thing to get advantage of the full hz. Ima do that and see how it goes. Never wanted to do raw accel for how I've heard of it being used, with acceleration and whatnot but this seems like a very valid purpose.
I use raw accel but never thought about changing the edpi with it lol, that would actually help so much cuz my 1600 dpi just doesn't work on some games, its way too high. Thanks for that
I use 6400dpi, I just half my sense in-game, and I get the same sensitivity
Where would i get one of these larger capacity replacement batteries for the HSK PRO 4k?

I wish this mouse wasn't so expensive, so that I could try it. I am using the SDI 305 slightly modified by me, but it still feels big for my grip.
Can you share more info about your glass pad?
U can get the Keychron M4, it is 50 bux in price and is a 35 gm fingertip mice
Seconding the other comment's recommendation to look at the Keychron M4. It's a more affordable alternative to the HSK, but also an entirely different shape.
As for the SkyPAD, I absolutely love mine. Very smooth glide, easy to clean, and practically immortal. Took a little while to adjust to the "lack" of control in the pad itself, but in the long run gave me better overall control of the mouse. Definitely recommend getting one. You might want to get a couple nylon sleeves, though, it's very easy for the humidity and temperature to make it uncomfortably sticky in warm humid conditions, or cold to the touch if the ambient temperature gets low in your room.

Plastic is plastic! POM is chemically similar to PTFE, regardless of the shape :)

Was it hard removing the side buttons? I have the og hsk and love it and I want to upgrade to the 4k but like u I’m a hater of side buttons lol
Very easy to get into the Pro and pull the side buttons, just four screws and some pressure-fit plastic clips hold the bottom shell in place, super user serviceable design honestly.
Where can I find these Guitar Picks and how do you attach them ?

how can you play Eternal with no scroll wheel and side buttons though? If all your binds are all around wasd how can you even move while quick switching?

when i set my hsk pro to 4k polling rate it stutters and doesn't track properly for me
Disable CPU C-states in your BIOS if on Intel, for AMD I think they call it Core Parking. It's a power-saving feature for the CPU that interferes with high polling rates.
My 9900k had the exact same problems with 4khz, after disabling C-states it works fine.
Great tips. Is there a reason why you dont use motion sync?
Most likely doesn't need it plus it introduces slightly increased latency albeit not that much

would you recommend the hsk pro as a main mouse? I want your opinion because you actually play games
I have been using this mouse every day since getting it in December of 2022, so yes I would recommend it, but everyone has different preferences. If you think you'll like it, I would say it's a great choice.

What type of glue did you use to attach youe guitar picks? I'm asking because I'm thinking about applying these to my g pro super light (obviously they will be little bit thinner, suppose .73/.88), but I have no clue which glue to use. Or in case you used tape, what was the thickness of a tape you used?
Ps. Found your Reddit post, however you didn't specify thickness of your tape. If you could at least mention this detail I'd be thankful
For the glue I just used a small amount normal Gorilla Glue epoxy spread thinly over the backside of the pick. When I was using tape to attach them, it was Scotch double-sided tape. I'm not sure on the exact thickness of it, but it would've been the stuff for crafts/interior use, probably about .3mm thick.

@@LibertyWlk fortunately I didn't. Tried attaching them on SteelSeries rival 3 for testing, used 1mm thick double sided tape, of course it turned out to be too thick for sensor to register inputs. Gave up and bought four sets of corepadz, since it's equivalent of double sided tape required

lol how can u aim with raised wrist?
It's situational, I plant it sometimes for static aim like holding pre-fire angles and stuff, but during tracking/flicking and general movement I keep it slightly raised so I don't "stick" to the pad. That's one of the things I focused on that helped me get better at tracking.
