I bought the CD when it came out. I had it in the car for a long time. Some years back I picked up a 2012 reissue which sounded fine because the original recording was so good. Now you made go and send Chad some more money.
Uh-oh sorry bro but you know you're going to be amazed I need feedback brother let me know how you like the record 👍 and by the way Richard you know when you watch my videos it's always going to cost you money but it sure to put a smile on your face at the same time. Thanks so much for tuning in I always appreciate your encouraging words.
Good one Ron! Like you, that's not really my type of stuff either. Don't care much for the Singer/Songwriter style. But, I'm sure the sound is excellent! About the only ones in this 75 AP Atlantic series that I MIGHT consider is the YES: Close to the Edge or possibly a couple of the Stone Temple Pilot albums. I have the OG of Purple. However, many speak very highly of the Chris Bellman Close to the Edge on the Steve Hoffman Forums. Many like it better than the other 'Audiophile' versions, so I just got it from Amazon but I haven't listened to it yet. I have an early US pressing that sound okay, but it will be interesting to compare. Keep up the great work Ron! 👍
Thanks my friend yeah I like the yes Atlantic stuff this Stone Temple pilots maybe the Crosby stills Nash Young and maybe the selling England by the pound on the short list I got a feeling these are going to be really great sounding records and they should be for $60 each
Hey Ron…hope all is well..I love Norah and her debut is a big favourite..I think I need that Classic Records edition..if I can find one at a good price..great video Ron..thank you👍❤glen
The thing about buying records had a discount is you have to be patient. sometimes they'll come to you at the price you want to pay. The classic records edition goes for a way over a hundred. if you can get a brand new analog productions Kevin gray pressing which is most likely a lot better for 75 like the guy says part of the reason they're expensive now is there at the end of the run and they're just going to go way up in price after this so good luck my friend and thanks so much for watching appreciate your kind words 👍
You are most welcome it's my pleasure I really enjoy doing the shoot out comparison videos. this is kind of what I've been doing for 10 years now in the vinyl community. thanks so much for your most encouraging comments and for liking the video. most appreciated.
So I am confused. Do you have the QRP version? Seems like you should include that one if you have it here. Sorry for the question. Good stuff. Love these multi comparison vids
No I haven't purchased the QRP I was just trying to surmise the quality based on the experience with the cowboy Junkies records. Chad always makes the best records.
Great choice for a video. I have Listened to that record 100 times. I have a normal press, there was some inner groove distortion on the Ap press I heard. So never got it.
Good review of the Norah Jones album Its amazing the kind of work Hobson did when he owned Classic that Jones album is going for well over a hundred on discogs. Love Norah, my favorite song is probably Chasing Pirates, from her album The Fall
Her voice is just made for vinyl... Much like Amy Winehouse
I have the 2 qrp versions and they are outstanding, glad these are the best 🎉. Great video .
Yes outstanding that's a good word for those records thanks for watching Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice, I gotta get some Nora Jones in my collection!😊

@@RocknRonni can you play DSD? I can give you a sample of it at DSD256
No I don't have an SACD player I just have a high-res CD 24/96 that I use at 16 bit to digitize my records to put on my phone
Good point Ron, Kevin's got the magic touch
Thanks David

Thanks bro The boron cantilever is amazing on this record makes a big difference 😀
My copy came warped. I read on discogs that many other people had the same issue. I wonder why so many warped copies of this release!?
This is why they went to the 180 g and the 200 gram records they're less likely to warp
That Norah Jones album is great. Give me the names.
Thanks Richie appreciate you stopping by and saying hello my friend
