It's amazing that Wolfgang played EVERY and did all the vocals on this and EVERY song on his first album. Quite a talented young man.

Losing one's father is never easy and I'm pleased he memorialized EVH this way. That said, WVH is and always will be his own man and musician. Love it that you're doing this!

When you carry Eddie with you, as your imaginary best friend, idol, musical inspiration etc. for your entire life, it’s hard not to break down watching this.

Yay, you found Wolfgang!!! You have to check out his harder stuff, that's his normal vibe. He's been on tour with Guns N Roses, a 2 year tour with Metallica, Mammoth does their own tours & he's done so much more. He's truly very gifted musically, vocally & he's a great songwriter. Check out 'Don't Back Down' by Mammoth WVH, the original video.

The first band you see Wolf playing drums at with Eddie on guitar is a school recital/fundraiser when he was pretty young. However, Wolf did start playing with Van Halen when he was 15 so still young. This song is kind of a slow one compared to his others. If you listen to "Another Celebration at the End of the World" which came out last year, it totally rocks. Thanks for reacting Mugs. You are the best!
And I want to mention that Eddie's wife in these videos (Wolfie's mom) is Valerie Bertinelli who was a well-known actress to those of us who are older. The guys were in love with Val, the girls were in love with Eddie.

Wolf started playing drums first, he considers himself a drummer first and foremost. Then he learned guitar and bass starting around 12-13 ish? He became the bassist in Van Halen at 16 yrs old and he was great. He also sang backing vocals in Van Halen. He'd been working on his first album when his dad got really sick so he basically stopped/slowed down to be with his dad. He did finally finish the whole album, his dad (& mom Valerie Bertinelli, a very famous actress starting in the 70s & still working. She was more famous than Eddie when they met, lol) watched him record the album & his dad was able to hear the whole thing before he passed. He told every interviewer that Wolf was better than him & was going to blow everyone's mind. Wolf is the real deal & he worked his ass off for years to get so good.

I heard somewhere Wolfgang was one of the main reasons vanhalen went back out to play shows because Eddie wanted to play with his son they did a different kind of truth and went on tour.

It was crazy how many haters gave Wolfgang a hard time- and still do- as he went through the last several years with his dad's struggles #POS

Eddie wanted Wolfy to go his own path in music not do a Van Halen tribute. Song Another celebration at The End of the World, he plays like Eddie.
