    I've got the Spirit 1.0 plus on my Twin Troller X10 for a year now. Love it! The Mrs. has more time on the motor than I do 😄. Make sure you do not travel with the battery attached. Don't want it jarring lose. Put it in the truck. (PS, hook the kill switch cord to your person and or 😏 PFD)

    Thanks for the Tutorial! I've been doing homework on the twin troller & I read about the highly rated Eoutboard a few months ago. Love your set up!! I'm probably going to go the same way except blue for with the twin troller. I was concerned about the battery life for the two trolling motors but the Eoutboard solves that problem so thanks a ton! Have fun, stay safe & catch some great bass

    Hopefully at some point, they develop solar panel charging, while you are out on the lake.
    Looks like the top of the battery would be a good place for a solar panel or two, to keep the charge up while fishing on the trolling motors.

  • @FreddieG13

    I've had my spirit 1.0 plus for a year. My only issue with it is that the propeller is a vegetation magnet. I have to pull the weeds off by hand too often. I have a little 30 lb thrust minn kota that rarely traps weeds and if it does, I just put it in reverse and the weeds kick off. Does this weed problem happen to anyone else? Also, I have not been able to find that epropulsion sells a weedless propeller. Any possible suggestions\solutions would be appreciated. Thank you

      I used my Spirit 1.0 last season on a very grassy lake and had no problem. Occasionally some grass would get on the shaft but reversing the motor removes it right away.

    Fletch, Is that motor RATED as an Outboard Motor or a Trolling Motor for most states registration requirements? Do you know? Florida, Alabama, Georgia are all different for outboards, electric and trolling motors...etc. In Florida many cities have different required registrations as well. Especially for the MOTOR READY KAYAKS. It is a 😎 motor if it doesn't make for registration headaches. I'll look into it, it would be nice to have one

      @@catdaddy9626 Pretty pricey. But Fletch tends to get stuff that lasts him awhile so the $ costs are worth it maybe. I figure as more manufacturers bring out more products like this the price will come down or at least stay steady...after 😷 Covid pricing maybe. Btw, I considered the Pelican. I own 2 of their Monaco Paddle Boats and love them. I got the Old Town Sportsman 106 (paddle only version). I didn't need anything more advanced than that. Just for lazy FISHIN off the shoreline. Yeah I have been looking into the same for my boat. All electric outboard (trolling) and it a pretty big lake (240 acres) and pretty time assuming getting from one spot to another . I would love to get one of these as most have a 24 volt or 48 volts running voltage. I just right can't come off the $1500 for one..
    But thanks you for putting this out as I know there is a option . Maybe tax return next year? 🤔🔥👍💯

  • @Airslides
    @Airslides 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just heard back from Freedom Electric, and they say the 2.3 HP Honda gas outboard will push the TT from 6 MPH to 6.5 MPH. 50% faster than the electric outboard. Less expensive. Unlimited range with extra fuel bottles. And you can still fish the TT in outboard prohibited areas with the TT trolling motors. Still unanswered questions regarding prop material (plastic or metal), cost of replacement prop and difficulty in replacing. Final Judgement: Gas Outboard hands down!!!

    Hello Fletcher my name is Lee. I’m thinking of purchasing the twin troller but after seeing your video, I don’t think I want to purchase the gas engine. Now I live in south Florida and I checked out a company near me that carry’s the outboard you mentioned. They ask me questions about what size shaft do I want. Well since I don’t have the boat yet, I’m not sure what length I need for the twin troller. Maybe you can advertise se me on that since you have one on your boat. They mentioned that I need to know the length from which he transom to the bottom of the boat at the deepest point. If you can let me know and if there’s any other ideas you can think of please let me know. Thanks

    Personally, I would rather spend like $685.00 on a 2.5 HP Suzuki outboard. With three gallons of gas, you can go a lot farther at full speed ahead than the just over an hour you get with that electric motor.
