    The reason why you use the winch and throttle is to add voltage and aid the motor on the winch, not a lot of throttle, just a little bit.

      No problem. Seems like the internet is full of videos on how to destroy a 4 wheeler and not much on how a regular person would do regular upgrades. Lol. Cheers!

    What phone holder are you using? And also how did you wire the 12v plug? Thanks 🙏

      Off the top of my head I can't remember the name of the holder... ill have to check. For the power I got the Honda OEM harness that is used for the " hand warmers" cuz its got more wires to tap into for power. Im running my led of that harness too.

      Thanks. Seems like a lot of atv stuff on TH-cam is just folks trying to destroy their equipment or mods to aid in the destruction of their equipment. Cheers.

    Nice Rancher, where did you get your cup holder? Brand and website, thanks.

      @Elveshelves  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got the cup holder at a local liquidation store. It’s an unmarked made in China kind of a thing.

    Just a warning, recovering the atv from the hitch receiver with that shackle is a terrible idea. They’re known to snap and explode whatever they end up hitting, including your body. Usually advice for recovery on larger vehicles, but if you’re stuck bad enough or just pulling at the wrong angle it could be bad. Remove the hitch insert, put the tow strap inside the square receiver opening past the hole for the pin, and then insert the locking pin through the strap loop. Pull on the pin, not whatever insert is inside the receiver. It’s dangerous.

      @Elveshelves  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe on a big truck. My atv frame would snap before thst shackle would. The receiver on the atv would fail before the shackle would fail. I bet the axel the receiver is bolted to would fail before the shackle would fail. I think where people go wrong is using a ball hitch to hook to, especially a drop ball. The geometry gets weird and creates a lot more stress and stuff fails. I have no worries about pulling on a shackle in a receiver on an atv. It’s all well within the working load limit for a Honda rancher.

    The electric shift ruins that Honda. In the long run get a foot shift. The es is nothing but a headache and dealers don’t know how to fix.

    • @Elveshelves
      @Elveshelves  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the DCT Auto not the ES. So far I haven’t had any problems. The newer automatic transmissions are computer controlled dual clutch transmission or DCT, clutch one engages the odd number gears, clutch two engages the even number gear, not sure which one controls reverse but you get the drift. It's actually supposed to be a lot smoother going through the gears and compares the feel of a CVT belt system.

      I beg to differ.... I bought a 2016 trx420 FA5 Automatic DCT 4x4 IRS brand new, the only thing I've ever purchased brand new... and I've ridden the snot out of it. Used to be an avid mine explorer, then went legally blind and use it as my primary transportation. I've put 4k+ miles on it. Have never had it looked at or worked on, it hasn't been to a shop since it left the sales floor. All I do is change the oil and tires.
      It's a beast. I've had zero problems with the transmission and its a daily driver. I'd suggest it to anyone who needs something that will just keep running and won't quit. I'm an incredibly happy owner.
