      That is the European-style FI GL fixtures, whereas the version that lights up is the Asia-Pacific Style FI GL. Both versions were used here. Schindler continues to offer both European and Asia-Pacific variants of the 3300 to this day, though the differences are less obvious with the new FIGS fixture line.

    The Schindler 5500 4:46 chime is more common than 4:31 in Australia

      No it is isn't......Lots of companies use very similar chimes in the Asia-Pacific market....they do not buy their chimes from Mitsubishi.
