the lift came down to the bottom floor so it could only go up from there, the down is the way it came, the up is the way it'll go next. Nothing was pressed inside, it's just a weird and unusual way of displaying things

In my cousin's house they have 2 of these colored and designed call button screen, but it is slide different and also the chime sound also same. But few days ago when I visit them I used the lift but it didn't make the chime😭. It maybe gives me goosebumps but still I love it. BTW where you from?
at a guess are the buttons square and white with a black plate surrounding them? you've probably got the regular version of series 1 then, it's the vandal resistant version in my video here i'm based in Scotland

the american FIGLs kinda confuse me, the older ones have a not as good quality chime then only on the newer forms did they gain one more like what you've linked the timestamp of, yet over here we only ever had this chime on the FIGLs, just a higher pitch form in the earlier ones
that lift was an OTIS Europa 2000 but it was modded by Concept with generic fixtures - Dewhurst buttons and i can't remember who makes the indicator but its quite a common sight at NCP car parks like the one these are in. Not often they chime tho
ExpressEvans, a company formed through OTIS's acquisition of Express and Evans, which they used to install cheaper lifts than they would under their OTIS name. Since renamed to Express Lift Alliance and now just Express Lift Co, installing lifts built nothing like vintage Express used to (same can be said for all companies really)
it should work on this model of Schindler 3300 with these FIGS fixtures, so if its not working for you my guesses from not knowing anything about the lift you tried it on are either it was in the US or it wasnt this model but i'd need to know more to be of any proper help

it's rather similar to the otis call panel shape yeah but i suppose call panels are slightly more limited on the possible variety of shapes that can be used while remaining sensible, so in a sense it's more understandable than the copycat indicators used by the likes of doppler lol
a little trick you can do with early 5300/3300 installs with those fixtures :) just press the call button a bunch of times. it doesn't work on ones put in in the 2010s tho as they updated the logic at some point around then (haven't been able to determine an accurate time period yet)
