James! You know I always look forward to your episodes and today was definitely not a disappointment. I’ve seen some of those hand painted porcelain disks of theirs ( in photos/ videos) but this one you landed is smashing. One of the best patterns I’ve seen out of Japan. Congrats on a fantastic addition to your collection 👊🏻
Thanks Michael! Always appreciate the comments. Yes, this one was a spectacular find, wasn't really expecting it but as soon as I saw the dial I knew it was it. Had been looking at GS with similar dials for months and nothing was quite what I was looking for. Excited to get the strap soon to match the dial, of course. :) Cheers!
@@scooby7877absolutely, initially I felt the same but I don't mind that it's quartz! I think new they're just under $3k, I got mine pre-owned for significantly less than that. The texture is the same as the GS Katana in red.
@@scooby7877 thank you! Chrono24. My preferred dealer overall is 1916 Company (previously WatchBox) but C24 is a way bigger marketplace so they're great for exploring niche pieces, and they also are very secure in terms of their sales process. So I trust the platform if I'm not able to work with my usual contact at 1916 because they don't always have every piece I'm looking for.
@@scooby7877 oh heck yeah man that is another killer piece! Still has that simplicity, nice guilloche pattern on the dial. And of course, blue 👌👌👌 congratulations on the piece! 😀
@@greenerick yes this one is all the best of Japanese watchmaking with such a low profile on the wrist. No one who doesn't know this brand would have any idea why they should want it haha and it doesn't have even close to the same rarity as like an Eichi II.
Absolutely beautiful 😍
@@فيصل-و3ي thank you my friend!
That is a gorgeous dial. Wear it in good health my friend
@@phantomphotography7392 I appreciate it!
Another great video of a superb watch.
@@jimmillett9224 thanks for the comment Jim! I am enjoying the simplicity of this piece.

Really cool dial, I wish it was automatic. How much did it retail?

@@JamesCarian well it’s a beauty, what site did you purchase it on if you don’t mind me asking

Great watch. Nobody's going to mug. You can go to the roughest areas in town, and criminals will just walk pass
