Very nice video diving into some vintage Seiko's. A couple of things, the 6159-7001 is not the Grandfather Tuna. That would be the 7010 model. Also it's worth noting to anyone trying to navigate the vintage market as a whole is to do your homework. There are a lot of franken watches, specially the Pogue model. Ebay is full of them with aftermarket dials and bezels, mismatched hands etc. Also some dealers that claim to sell all original watches can turn out to be original parts, but not matching. You can still find 6105s, 6139s and even a nice 6306/9 Turtle for a decent price, just have to know where to look. Otherwise, great video!

Thank you for the correction. And totally agreed on doing your own homework. I feel that vintage Seiko is an incredible wealth of watch heritage. I'm going to pin your comment to alert viewers to my mistake.

Thanks for a great video. I am lucky enough to have found a panda drom my birth year, and complemented it with a citizen speedy from a year later.
    You've got a new sub.
    Best regards from Mexico

SBGW253 is beautiful. Pure white dial, classic look, timless. But too expensive for me.

The 6159-7001 is not a "Grandfather Tuna", amazing watch though.

I like winding watches with no date.

That's exactly how I feel. I prefer a simple 3 hander with no date.
