    Ingredients:
    Rice 2 cups ( i used jasmin rice)
    sugar 1/2 cup + 3 tbsp
    salt 1/2 tsp
    baking powder 1 tbsp
    water 1 cup ( kumuha don sa pinqgbabaran ng bigas)
    banana leaves optional
    steaming time: 15 to 18 minutes depende sa laki ng molder na gagamitin. use toothpick test pag wala na nasamang mixture ibig sabihin luto na sya.

    Laon po means old crop . Hindi po bagong ani.
    Laon po ginagamit sa Puto para maalsa.

    Rice is soaked overnight to ferment the rice, thus the characteristic taste of puto, kind of sourness to it.
    Laon means old, so not newly harvested.

      Hello yes po. Basta pag gamitin nyo na balik nyo po muna sa room temperature. Mamumuo po kasi ang coconut milk pag ilagay sa ref

    Hello.. Pwede po ba ito iwan sa loob ng ref over night.. Afraid kasi ako dahil coconut ang gagamitin kong wet ingredients.. Baka mapanis kung nasa counter lang.. Sana mabasa mo po ito🙏.. More power to ur awesome channel..

      Yes po. Balik nyo lang sa room temperature kinabukasan bago nyo lotoin at ilagay ang ibang ingredients.

    Ms, I tried your puto pero di po pumutok. Ilang minutes po kaya kung 24 pcs na medium molder? Sinunod ko po ang steps. Pinagrest ko po ng 35 mins after mixing all ingredients including baking powder. Hindi po umalsa🤔😢

      High heat po kung gusto nyo po pumutok ang puto sis. Medium heat naman kung tama lang. At dapat wag buksan habang ini steam
