I agree. It's hard to make godzilla look cooler than he already is, but for ghidorah to say "you and what army?" For godzilla to pull up with the human military backing him, is pretty badass.
Yes, Godzilla got bigger because of that nuke. He went from 355' tall/93,000 tons, to 393' tall/99,000 tons. This was the second time humans blew a nuke up in his face. Since Big G feeds off radiation, nukes are literally a massive power-up for him.
Well I think that 393 is his height in general for this movie, because he'll filter feed materials aside from radiation just swimming around which is where he'll get his mass from without directly eating. Him growing is most likely in response to the MUTO Prime, which is also what prompts his spines to regrow much larger and jagged.
He's got stronger but not bigger I think you have it wrong just a little bit who said he's gotten taller and bigger what would make you say such a thing like that?.

Mothra is immortal, she is a very smart Titan, she will always lay eggs before fighting, she can use the eggs for reincarnation and still have her old consciousness and memories.
This movie is a love letter to Godzilla fans considering the director is also a massive fan. First off the hollow earth was an idea that carries over from Kong Skull Island and will continue in Godzilla vs Kong. There are small references that make this movie even better for me like Monster Zero being the second name of King Ghidorah in a movie called Godzilla vs Monster Zero (1966) or how each outpost corresponds with the monsters debut appearance like Outpost 56 for Rodan (1956) and Outpost 54 for Gojira (1954). Great care was given to give each of the titans personality like Ghidorah's heads interacting with one another or the look in Godzilla's eyes when he sees Ghidorah is full of rage. Serizewa's sacrifice in this movie actually parallels his sacrifice in the original Godzilla which was a completely different character. Mothra's wings can actually be seen in the pattern of molten Godzilla's explosion. Each environment they're introduced in encapsulates their being like how Ghidorah was in Antarctica which showcases how cold and deadly he is, when Mothra appeared in the jungle it showed how lush and beautiful she is, and Rodan came out of a volcano to showcase how destructive and firery he is. That's also a callback to the original Rodan. The whole things with the twins ties in with Mothra always having twin priestess at her side back in the original movies. Bear Mcreary's score is nothing short of breathtaking as it incorporates the classic themes while also bringing in new themes. This was a battle i had a big smile on my face watching it in Imax on the big screen. What else can I say except: long live the king!
That's the first thing I thought about, with the new revamped version of Mothra, and Rodan, ..thought about the old movies she was in, how there was always this connection with the twin girls, in the old movies, as a kid, I thought of them as fairies,..love how they updated them as twins in a long line of descendants, connected to Mothra, as scientists, well versed in Mothra, and the other titans existence,..and love how Rodan was more expressed as a fire demon, it makes sense, since all of them feed on the radiation, all are connected to the engine of the planet,..the core, and even though Mothra seems this delicate winged creature, she's not delicate, she with stood close quarters battle with Rodan, he's literally on fire, fire wings, but she didn't melt, her wings were only cinged slightly, didn't see it in IMAX, like you, but boy as a long time fan, it didn't matter, I was like a kid all over again,..and the way it all was brought to life on the big screen, just loved it!,...Godspeed, Peace ✌

The song at the end of the movie was an actual song from 1977-78 by Blue Oyster Cult. I used to love when they played this song on the radio, and when I heard it at the end, it was perfect.
Just so you know, Mothra is immortal, she gets reborn upon death like a Phoenix. Usually, she lays an egg before death, and when she dies, a new one hatches with all memories and experiences. Maybe she will be back in another movie
I occurred to me that if Ghidorah didn't always 'slither' (or fly near the ground) to terrorize the puny humans, he wouldn't always have so much trouble with "Big G".
The other 3 main kaiju in this movie is Rodan, who originally started in his own movie of the same name Rodan (1956) aka Radon (Japanese Name). Mothra, AKA Mosura (Japanese name), AKA The Thing (Mothra vs. Godzilla's international title), AKA Queen of the Monsters (KOTM2019) started in her own 1961 film named Mothra. She was a Goddess Monster who came to save the Shobijin, her priestesses. Her first appearance in the Godzilla universe was Mothra vs. Godzilla (Godzilla vs. The Thing) where she defended Japan against Godzilla. She is a hero or anti-hero in her original movies like Rodan and Godzilla. King Ghidorah, AKA (Monster Zero) AKA Demon of the Galaxy, is a Space Dragon hell-bent on destroying planets, also destroying the planet of Venus in original debut movie, Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster (1964). He did have different origins however unlike Mothra, Rodan, and Godzilla, where in several iterations, he was born by the H-Bomb test like Godzilla in the Heisei Continuity (1984-1995), a God of the Sky in one movie called GMK (2001) in the Millennium Series, but mainly the Demon of the Galaxy like this film, Rebirth of Mothra III (A spinoff trilogy in the Heisei Era) and Godzilla Final Wars and the original films. (1954-1977)
Definitely the best Godzilla movie at least in MY opinion I was never really a big fan of the older ones but I honestly enjoyed this and the cast was STACKED. 👏🏾👏🏾 I also thought it was a real treat to see all the monsters come up at once, a few I don’t remember by name but Rodan coming out the volcano and Ghidorah in front of the cross we’re beautiful shots.
Mothra sacrificing herself is a Homage to the film Godzilla , Mothra and King Ghidorah Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001) except in that film Godzilla was the bad guy. Well worth a reaction IMO
This one is and always will be my favorite of the series. Especially with the iconic Godzilla roar and his entrance music and the ending theme song Go Go Godzilla. Always takes me back to the Saturday night's monster fest on AMC. Or the station could've been called something else back then. Awesome reaction ladies and I'm pro Godzilla just like y'all.
Gojira(Godzilla), Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah are all property of the Japanese company Toho. The Oxygen Destroyer and Dr. Serizawa's sacrifice are references to the original Gojira from 1954
So, you know that scene with Godzilla walking up on Ghidorah with a military escort? Yeah, there was one comparison I heard that pretty much was the best comparison I ever heard. Godzilla walking up with a Military Escort is equivalent to how, in Avengers Endgame, Captain America shouts "Avengers, Assemble!" Before the final big fight. EDIT: The Creature you asked about after the Monke-Mammoth one (Behemoth) is the Queen MUTO. She was given a few design modifications, giving her some more rockey spines on her back.
I mentioned in the Godzilla reaction I loved there was a Dr Serizawa in the films. It's such a callback to the original 1954 movie in that Dr. Serizawa sacrificed himself for humanity. In the original, he used the oxygen destroyer to kill Godzilla. In this one, he uses a nuke to revive him.
10:24 Vera Farmiga’s character is sadly absolutely right. If you want proof look at what happened to the planet in 2020 during lockdown. The waters of the canals of Venice Italy were so clear that it looked like an aquarium, or how in India the smog cleared out and the skies were so clear that for the first time in almost a century you could see the Himalayas. All of this happened because humanity was forced to take its foot of of natures throat and allow it to breathe and he itself. And of course once lockdown was lifted humanity trashed the planet again. David Attenborough actually narrated and produced a documentary about all of that. So sadly unless someone can miraculously convince the most powerful people in the world to switch to clean and renewable energy, we are living on a doomed planet, and we will become the cause of the next mass extinction.
There is no convincing them. They would gladly throw away the world for another dollar. I think we all know the only way to handle them, but none of us want to do it/accept it.
Monsterverse has Kong as a Titan. Original Godzilla movie had Dr. Serizawa created the Oxygen destroyer, nice tribute to the lore. Dr. Serizawa also died so no one could create such a weapon. Ghidorah is a classic enemy, Rodan (or Radon, name Japanese) and Mothra are all classic monsters. Also the Twins (did you catch them?) are a homage to the Fairy Twins in Mothra. Pair of Kristen and Haley so enjoyable!
Ghidorah's beams are actually gravity beams lol, it looks a lot like lightning though. his gravity beams basically take any gravity around and pin point it all onto his target, so he's basically crushing you to death.
The story is simple. Godzilla is the creator of the ecosystem in earth. He is the true ruler, and every living organisms including human should be dependent on him to live in a favorable and natural environment. And it is the responsibility of this evolved monkeys with brains to help him as he is technically an emperor. If earth was shattered and gone, the best way for humans and ecosystem to live in another environment is by making godzilla go to an alien planet where the conditions are favorable for him to live and he will pave way for earthlings to settle down there. Just like chidora, who wants to shape earth and create organisms under his environment.
Interesting that you thought these monsters blended better with Godzilla than did the MUTOs from his previous film. Those first two creatures were original designs for that movie, while all the monsters in this one are from movies from Japan's Toho Studios which also created Godzilla. Mothra and Rodan starred in their own films, and have crossed over with Godzilla; while Ghidorah is Godz's greatest recurring nemesis.
One occasional concept of the Godzilla universe, both old but especially new, is that some of the kaiju/titans are the direct inspirations for some human myths and legends of monsters. King Ghidorah in particular being the inspiration for the legend of the hydra, and Godzilla could be seen as a fire-breathing dragon, despite being bipedal.
I live in New England so when I saw this in a packed IMAX the scene when Bradley Whitford said “It’s about to be a very bad day to be a Red Sox fan EVERYONE at once screamed NOOOOOOOOO!!! And it sucked for me because in the first movie Godzilla and the MUTO’s destroyed San Francisco which is where I was born and in this movie they destroyed what is practically the cathedral of New England, Fenway Park.😢😢 As for the movie itself I honestly don’t know why this movie wasn’t a billion dollar hit. Not a single person in the theater had nothing but fun watching this movie. Also the end credits song with the Godzilla song adaptation by the lead sing of System Of A Down freaking SLAPS! And the line “history shows again and again that nature has been the folly of man” REALLY a hit hard during 2020.
If you watch any Godzilla movie backwards, it's about a giant lizard that moonwalks out of the ocean, reconstructs a destroyed city, and moonwalks back into the ocean
Those “bat things” aren’t bats. They’re more like bugs. They’re called MUTO’s. There was one bowing to Godzilla in the of this movie too. And “fire bird” is called Rodan. One of Godzilla’s oldest enemies/allies.
To be fair, King Kong is a tad more than just a monkey lol...but yeah,I always wondered why anyone would seriously think King Kong has a legitimate chance of taking out Godzilla. Ghidora picked up Godzilla and carried him up to practically space and dropped him and his body slammed back into the ground like a meteor. And he still got back up ready to continue the battle. There is simply no way Kong's big monkey punches can hit harder than that. Or harder than a NUCLEAR BOMB blowing up in Godzilla's face. I mean....honestly. I think you guys will really enjoy Godzilla vs Kong. I felt like that movie was pretty satisfying with how it addressed this stuff. Kong is crafty but Godzilla is just.....overwhelming..
Seeing modern versions of the classic kaiju (instead of people in rubber suits) was so awesome. I do wish they'd gone with the original Blue Oyster Cult song in the end credits instead of a crappy cover version.
Godzilla: GHIDORAH! Ghidorah: Wussup? Godzilla: I NEVER YIELDED! AND AS YOU CAN SEE! I AM NOT DEAD! Ghidorah: ALL THAT CHALLENGE SHIT OVER WITH, I'M THE ALPHA NOW!!
Awesome reaction guys 😊Yeah Hayleys pro/Team Godzilla haha Easily my favourite movie so far in the monsterverse Team Godzilla all the way !!This movie is just so epic i love the design of Mothra "Queen of the monsters,King Ghidorahn and Rodan.Dr Serizawa's sacrifice and final moments with Godzilla always gets me in the feels i love that he knows that humanity should be living in harmony with the titans and its the only way and that shot of Godzilla emerging from the ocean and firing his beam into the sky is my favourite shot of the movie closley followed by humans joining the fight with godzilla jets flying from behind him. I also love Mothras sacrifice and that her power/soul bonds with Godzilla as he becomes burning Godzilla and you can see her wing pattern and here her cries as he releases his energy blasts to destroy Ghidorah.I also freaked out in the cinema during the credits when they played a cover of Godzilla by Blue Oyster cult! "Long live the king!"
The parallels are that the Kongs are agile and intellectual. We'll see that in the next one when we get to Hollow Earth and see ALL THEY HAVE BUILT. But the "Ghojira"'s have thier own natural bulk, atomic powers and thier energy sensing powers that let them track thongs on a planet wide scale.

As with all these films the so called Monsters are more interesting than the humans and show more emotion, I do like Kong and Godzilla equally your in for a treat for the next one.
Dont care about critics, saw this film 3 times on the cinema room, and cried on the same scenes... Mothra, any scene with her and i dont know why, it got into my hearth. Serizawa sacrifice hurtss a lot, and to be honest, Elma was on point... in this days humanity iis truly a sick virus, tho the methods are too extreme. But it is actually proven that there are too many humans on earth, we have the damn climate by doing our business, and in nature, when that happens, another animals or multiple species control the overpopulation... but humans dont have natural predators anymore. Its one of the reason nowdays many people dont want to have children, it aint a personal decission, its a social natural behavior, we see our species thrive so much, that there is no point in having children on many parts of the world... nature always makes its way.
well rodan is more like a rebel monster. he even fight with ghidorah too. i love this move so much ..but was a very bad reputation. should be the best movie of monsterverse..the first one is godzilla minus one who winns an oscar

EDIT: The Creature you asked about after the Monke-Mammoth one (Behemoth) is the Queen MUTO. She was given a few design modifications, giving her some more rockey spines on her back.
Pause did she say “he’s JUST a monkey” ? The absolute disrespect on kong is honestly insane 💀
@bumblelee3476you’re right makes it a lil worse for me 😂
The editing at 32:00 is "chef's kiss"!
Awesome reaction of my favorite Godzilla movie!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I think the mum redeemed herself when she sacrificed her life to buy time for Godzilla
9:00, something to remember about "0", he's ALL wings and neck. THAT, is why he looks so BIG!
Really hope we get to see more of Mothra in the future. The is the most badass version of her we have ever seen.
Mothra is confirmed for Godzilla X Kong: A New Empire. Her cocoon is seen quickly in the trailers.
@@mitchmcmahon4079yay I’m so happy
@@mitchmcmahon4079there's no cocoon
finest monsterverse movie🔥🔥🔥
"That was your opportunity for the boop".... Hell yeah, the ultimate boop
Mothra is effectively IMMORTAL. She is capable of self reincarnation; WITH all her memories intact.
Godzilla giveth Godzilla taketh away……
Heck YEAH! How did I not see this video for a whole day?! The holo Kristen edits were EVERYTHING!😂💚💙❤️🔥
Long Live the King & All Hail the Queen~
Mothra's entrance always makes me bout to cry
One occasional concept of the Godzilla universe, both old but especially new, is that some of the kaiju/titans are the direct inspirations for some human myths and legends of monsters. King Ghidorah in particular being the inspiration for the legend of the hydra, and Godzilla could be seen as a fire-breathing dragon, despite being bipedal.
That intro was f***ing hilarious 🤣
Hayley was guessing everything so well!
Godzilla Mothra Kong. Masters of the ocean the sky and the earth.
Cuz Godzilla is real and King Kong are still best friends and help the world u will found out the next
I live in New England so when I saw this in a packed IMAX the scene when Bradley Whitford said “It’s about to be a very bad day to be a Red Sox fan EVERYONE at once screamed NOOOOOOOOO!!! And it sucked for me because in the first movie Godzilla and the MUTO’s destroyed San Francisco which is where I was born and in this movie they destroyed what is practically the cathedral of New England, Fenway Park.😢😢
As for the movie itself I honestly don’t know why this movie wasn’t a billion dollar hit. Not a single person in the theater had nothing but fun watching this movie. Also the end credits song with the Godzilla song adaptation by the lead sing of System Of A Down freaking SLAPS! And the line “history shows again and again that nature has been the folly of man” REALLY a hit hard during 2020.
Because they released this with endgame
9:40 I feel the same thing when this happened 😢 I miss her so…
Intro shocked me with Kristen 😂😂
If you watch any Godzilla movie backwards, it's about a giant lizard that moonwalks out of the ocean, reconstructs a destroyed city, and moonwalks back into the ocean
It's a shame this movie was generally slept on, because it was really great 😊
Nah the intro was hilarious 😂😂😂😂
I do wish they'd gone with the original Blue Oyster Cult song in the end credits instead of a crappy cover version.
god vs king.. the best one yet. love it.
HILARIOUS GODZILLA : KING OF THE MONSTERS (2019 ) FILM - MOVIE REACTION !!!!
26:50 It's okay she dies like every goddamn movie she'll be back eventually.😂
8:50 "Life flashed before my ass" 😂 I thought I heard it like that haha
14:00 Hailey trying to drown Kristen into emotional ride, she literally said while looking at her 😂. She is villian of this video reaction and i loved it 💯.
Lol epic start :D
TEAM GODZILLA FOR THE WIN! ☢️☢️🔥🔥
Ah Rodan. The Starscream of Kaiju :P
Happy Lil Dingdong(tm) and Hayley!
Am i the one who realized that at the beginning of the movie, the mom told to guy to go to sleep so he wouldn't get killed?
Mothra bursting through the clouds by the sub almost made me shat my pants seeing it in IMAX
Is this just me or has anyone else had this question in their minds,
Who's editting these videos nowadays???
I would love more Godzilla reactions. Especially the Japanese Godzilla’s
King gidhora is so cool
**salute** 🫡 to the Editor
As with all these films the so called Monsters are more interesting than the humans and show more emotion, I do like Kong and Godzilla equally your in for a treat for the next one.
This 1 was better than 2014 team Godzilla
top tier intro reactor
I love the Monster Verse it is a 💎 26:35 team Godzilla here ladies 26:55 Godzilla would most definitely win against Kong
I like you. You both have brains and souls. Enjoy your reactions.
Please react to skull island next you should see that before Godzilla vs Kong
Rodan IS classified as a DESTROYIER.
you missed the after credit bit
4:57 it's King Ghidorah three headed kaiju.
In a way, Dr. Emma Russell "won" because the number of human casualties in this film must be extremely high.
well rodan is more like a rebel monster. he even fight with ghidorah too. i love this move so much ..but was a very bad reputation. should be the best movie of monsterverse..the first one is godzilla minus one who winns an oscar
This movie in not great one but for me it is so much better than the one about the monkey vs the lizard
