How to collect Caustic Thargoid Materials from the Maelstrom - Farm that TITAN in Elite Dangerous

- There are now Thargoid materials to gather once inside the Maelstrom from the TITAN . In this video i'll show you how to farm Heat Exposure Specimen, Hardened Surface Fragments and Phasing Membrane Residue from the Thargoid Titan. Once you've found the materials, you can collect them by using your ship's limpets. Limpets are small drones that can be deployed to collect materials from a distance.
Once you've collected all of the materials, you can use them to engineer your Thargoid weapons and ships.
Here are some tips for getting the new Thargoid materials off the Titan mothership:
Bring a powerful ship with a lot of firepower. Titan motherships are very tough, so you'll need to be able to deal a lot of damage.
Bring a ship with a good scanner. This will help you to find the materials that the mothership drops.
Bring limpets. This will make it easier to collect the materials.
Be patient. It may take a few tries to destroy a Titan mothership.

That's some high praise! i agree -- I need to get in there to see for myself as I've been on the FC grind of late (4B and counting) but this looks too good to miss. Thanks, mate!
youre going to love getting a FC, it changes everything. i couldnt live without mine. i got mine parked close to one of the maelstroms so my maelstrom ship builds dont have to jump as far, they dont have to use fuel scoops which frees up another slot.

More grind! the one thing ED is lacking.
The video explains how to obtain these materials, but since there's nothing to spend them on yet there's no need to do it. Thus, no farming, no grind, no complaints.
Can you trade them for engineering materials?

AA was reportedly fixed in Update 15.
And with rhe abrasion blaster the titan wont get upset

So far only the live in. The some time you will find pods in the wreckage
