I just stayed at Music last week and loved it. I'm a park open to close person so I don't see the real value of staying anywhere else. My tip on transportation is that Music is in the middle of the other two so if I saw a bus for any all star resort I would hop on and just walk across the lot to Music. Beats waiting around for your bus and worked great when my hotel line was A LOT longer than the others
Aside from the lawn mowers or construction, noise has never been a problem for me at the All-Star resorts. Most WDW guests are probably "balling on a budget", which is why the occupancies are higher than the other resorts. Also, even the waiting for the monorail and skyliner can be long in the morning and night.
we’ve stayed at the movies resort around 10-12 times over the years. lately we’ve staying moderate, but movies was our 1st disney resort so it holds a special place for us.
I use the All Stars for split stays. One or two nights at the beginning of the trip when I know I'm going to arrive around 3 and spend the next day in the parks. My son and his family stays in them all the time and they like them fine. The rooms are biggish if you leave the 2nd bed up and that gives them lots of room for the pack and play.
Going to Disney soon for the first time. I want to try and get in the parks at rope drop. My question is: will the busses get me there for rope drop? Or should I drive there for rope drop? I guess another way to ask this is, what time do the busses usually get you to the parks?
We stayed at Movies back in Aug 2022 and loved it. We did not share buses with the other All-Star Resorts though wait times varied depending on the time of day and where we were going. The only problem with transportation we had was getting back from Magic Kingdom at park close. It took us an hour to get on a bus because many of the extra buses they add at night are not wheelchair accessible and my Mom was using a scooter to get around.
The All Star Movies Resort is actually a great place to stay. The only downside is that they are the last resorts for the busses. I had to walk to the very end of the bus stations at the parks every time. So if you’re like me and stay ALL day at one park, you will be exhausted walking there. Otherwise, great place to stay!! Huge statues of characters makes it fun for families!
All-Star Sports was where we stayed for my first trip to Disney. All-Star Movies was the second. And as a cinemaphile, All-Star Movies has a special place in my heart. BIG QUESTION: How early should you be to the bus stop, to successfully Rope Drop? 🤔
I stayed at one of the All Stars resorts on my first WDW trip. I loved the theming and food courts, but the bus transportation really killed us. An overall decent experience.
Advantage of buses is that they can increase capacity by adding more buses. At busy times i have seen buses lined up to handle the crowds, at the parks and also at the resort.
The problem with Music is the layout. If you are in Country Fair (buildings 5-6), you have a very long walk. While ASP and AMO are clustered about the main hall, AMU is placed almost linearly away from the hall, leading to the long distance.
Thank you for sharing. We've stayed at All Star Sports many times. It totally works when you're in the parks all day. Request for Quincy - would you be willing to rate all of the concierge levels at the Disney, 4 Seasons (I think that's the one on Disney property you reviewed earlier this year), and Universal hotels? Thank you! P.S. I saw Quincy's interview video. Very nice! You should see if you could incorporate a D&D style game into a theme park competition. That would be different and challenging.

I love staying at All Star Movies. My family has stayed there at least 3 times and we had a wonderful time. The kids just loved it!
I stayed at all star sports last year for my birthday last year and only went to Disney springs and lounged around at the pool and I had so much fun

Interesting, unless it’s changed in the last 4 months, All Star Movies had a set covered theatre for movie under the stars too!

Having seen quite a bit of Quincy's vids, I'm hyper focused on the fact that her cell phone is on a ledge behind her and she may forget it.

I love a sweet, sunny Quincy video!

As someone who wants wall to wall Disney theming all stars is the way outside the price range of Pop and AOA

Love the theming!!!
I’ve always stayed at all stars and I think they def serve their purpose and are still very nice! I’m staying pop next month for the first time !
$2 Lynx 111 from the airport to SeaWorld area, then Lyft to Disney.
Or transfer Lynx 350 Destination Parkway (SeaWorld) to Disney
@@vincent412l7 yes, but can’t bring luggage on Disney buses, so at some point you need Uber or Lyft for that final stretch. 👍
Love your videos ❤ 😊

All STAR RESorts.....uses Pop Century in thumbnail....NAILED IT
Haha you caught us! Fixed!
Everyone says that these allstar resorts are busy and the buses are overcrowded but every video I see they look pretty empty.
