I stayed there once a thousand years ago, seriously it was at least 20 years ago. I might splurge and do a split stay on my 68th birthday with GF and YC.
We were lucky to stay there once, in The Holiday season no less, with family who invited us to stay with them in their DVC suite. The word "Magical" gets thrown around a lot at Disney, but I must say our stay there WAS....Magical.
I really like this video series-great information condensed into short, quick video. Grand Floridian is definitely a bucket list item for me; I really liked all the holiday decorations when I visited on my last trip.
My favorite resort! We had a beautiful Mary Poppins themed room in the Boca Chica building and the Courtyard quiet pool was heaven. My husband had the best caesar salad of his life at GF cafe'. I loved every minute of it. A dream come true. I wanted my toddler to love the Alice and Wonderland splash area but she hated it. The courtyard pool was zero entry--perfect for her! I love the robe I got as a gift from the gift shop!
My hubby and I stayed here during our honeymoon years ago and I LOVED being so close to MK. I think we would do a split stay in the future, but not a whole week again. There are too many great resorts! Though I did try the Mac and Cheese recently and will travel far to get it again 😂
Hate to say, it is not my favorite-don’t love the vibe. It not even all that luxurious for the price - if you are spending a ton of time at MK location is amazing - I’d rather be at the Poly or one of the Epcot resorts. 🤷🏻♀️

I just returned from my first stay at the Grand Floridian, and I fell in love with the resort!

We just bought our DVC there as our home resort and will finally be able to stay there in December… I am so excited 😆
Staying there this spring! Can’t wait! Definitely bucket list!! Once I stay at GF I will have stayed at all the Magic Kingdom Resorts!

I'm going to guess that the cost of a 250-person wedding at that pavilion is somewhere between "luxury model Mercedes" and "house."
Overhyped and overpriced 😂 I did enjoy our meal at Victoria and Albert's though.
