La Sportiva TX Hike Mid GTX Product Review

When it comes to hiking in the wet seasons, it is important to have a versatile waterproof option that does just as well on dry terrain as it does on wet. That is where the La Sportiva TX Hike Mid GTX comes in. It is a bit of a crossover between a hiking boot and a trail runner. It is waterproof and has the great traction of a boot with the comfort of a trail runner. I was sent a pair and had a chance to review them. Here are my thoughts.
Waterproofing: Worked great hiking in the snow and slush of the winter and spring in the Colorado Mountains. The Goretex lining is also breathable to prevent getting too hot.
Traction: The Traction is really good on both wet or dry trails. It also handled rocky terrain and bouldering really well. I think it was best while hiking downhill and keeping the grip on declines to prevent from slipping.
Comfort: I found these to be a very comfortable boot that felt more like a shoe. There is good padding on the insole and midsole and the outsole has extra padding around the heel and toes.

You've probably laced those wrong, should've went thru loops, then cross the laces and go thru hooks, not directly from loops to hooks
