Thank you for this! One of the colleges I applied to I really like their Healthcare admin program as an undergraduate and I really think this will fit me. I was a Business Admin person at first but now im confident and see myself in this role.
I have a BS in healthcare admin.....unemployed for a year now and have had trouble finding my footing in the field since I graduated. They want RNs for admin roles. I regret not getting an RN degree. Going directly into management out of college is very difficult unless you are in a highly populated city.
I am perusing a BA in health admin only to do the accelerated BSN program in hopes both degrees will help me move up the latter as a RN.
Just started my second year in an MHA program and because I’m so type A it kills me to not yet know what my niche is😅But I also know that the field is so vast and that gives me faith we will all find something that we love
I am currently working as a medical biller and looking to start my Associate on Health care administration. I would love to stay and move up within the medical billing department. Will this be a good degree for that?
honestly its hard to go and accept the part do what u love to do when everyone around you wants you to do what they think is best for you its even more difficult and becomes even more confusing to choose your own path. i was looking into something more of a bussiness &leadership lane when then again im being pressurized to the part for doing something else that i find no passion on. definitely i will get through it and eryan your right abt one thing not everybody talks about this healthcare admin position ive rarely come across it . but hthank youu so much this video up to the point and precise on some grounds that needed to be spoken about
I’m a senior in undergrad right now looking to enter healthcare admin, I’m getting mixed reviews of what would be best: masters or work experience. Do you have any recommendations for jobs that would be good to work in before a masters??
I worked at a hospital and was mostly a assistant to the clerk at a nursing station and I’m thinking of being a medical records technician so this video is very helpful

This was extremely helpful.I am a graduate with a H.A degree and you are spot on.Unlike nursing where roles have been spelled outfor decades,H.A is really like an ocean with unlimited possibilities.This makes it overwhelming sometimes yet
I love it here, It really us an ocean with unlimited possibilities. I always knew I wanted to get into healthcare management, but there are so many terminologies when it comes to majors and programs. I just finished my associates degree, looking for a place to finish my bachelors and masters.

Thank you so much for this video I really learnt a lot, I just want to ask a question, I am from Nigeria I studied agriculture for my bachelors degree and plan towards transitioning into health care administration in the university of Regina Canada, I then found out while applying on the school portal that the course Health administration is an online course, so does that mean if I travel to Canada for the course I won’t attend classes as it an online course? Can I offer the course without necessarily traveling to Canada?? And also please are there schools in the U.S that also offer this course for international students thanks
